- One of my favorite genres is Twin Stick shooters, so I felt right at home with this, even though my movement stick was running around with its head cut off, it was a blast (heh)! There are a couple things that I would recommend with this, mostly tweaking the movement to be acceleration based instead of velocity to fix the jerky movement what occurs when the ball wants to make a u-turn, and have a minimum distance before an enemy will spawn to give a cushion to the player and allowing the player to use that knew information (nothing feels worse than having something spawn right on top of you). Moving on to the Game Design Document, the organization of the items you have there is great and detailed, but there was one section that I found missing that I look for specifically: The Development Timeline. The development timeline is important for a few reasons: (1) it gives a check for progression, being able to note when things get done and having a clear view of the steps required for the goal, (2) it gives a sense of dependency/importance as certain items will need to be completed before others (i.e. don’t just put the final day as the finish date for every item), and (3) it shows what extra items can be accomplished if there is time, or what things can be left for the next build if you are running behind. All in all, great work!

Cool concept. It was nice to focus on just shooting. I appreciate that you focused on gameplay.
