You are the Weapon in its current stage is a fantastic framework for adding more fully fleshed mechanics, assets, and sprites to start pulling things together. This prototype was interesting in both play throughs I did. I achieved the 'kill everyone' and 'kill only smith' endings. I found through some experimenting that if you crouch just at the edge of attack range and swing, you can take out every enemy in the game without taking any punishment or having to consider the rhythm of enemy attacks.
The Rock-Paper-Scissors element of the game felt intriguing, and I wondered how that might look within the game world you've described. Assuming you stick with the direction of genetically engineered fighting mutants, that means there are a lot of options for highlighting the differences in each group!
Thank you very much for this submission to Pirate Software Game Jam 16.

Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes
Summarise your game!
Brainwashed soldier brawling his way through a war. How the story unfolds depends on winning or loosing fights.
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
The squad the player belongs to was created to be used as a secret weapon against the enemy. The soldiers, and thus the player, are the weapon. Additionally, the blocks are supposed to represent hand to hand combat fighters. Their body is their weapon.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
The story is complete, but not the brawler part.
