- Great interpretation of theme! Being a modifiable moving weapons defence platform is a fun spin on the tower defence genre. Current difficulty scaling is very punishing but engaging and rewarding to progress on. Would be interesting to see an option to reorder the nodes installed when back at base. Or adding in oversteer to swing out the melee nodes to give more control and range. Or adding area control nodes for slow or other AoE effects. Controls are very responsive and intuitive, allowing the player to focus on mechanics and not controls. Field of view can feel too close in when managing lots of enemies. Great development and execution of ideas planned from GDD to game.

Summarise your game!
The player controls a mechanical serpent in a very familiar snake-like pattern. Each segment of the serpent is a weapon that the player can choose to detach from the serpent, placing it in the game world.
By killing enemies the player gains scraps which may be spent on more weapons, upgrades or repairs in the base. If the head of the serpent, or the base is destroyed, the game is over. Survive for 15 minutes
Controls: A & D or Arrow Keys to steer. Space to drop a weapon
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
The player is the weapon

First time wasn't a success, but second time was a victory. Really nice game, it's so simple and fun.
Awesome game! Really clever mix of genres and great implementation of the theme. At first I felt like the player was too weak and placing down turrets was OP. But mid-to end game that changes completely. Great job on balancing! My only complaint was that the sawblades felt underpowered and even though I wanted to use them, it didn’t make sense to drop a whole line of 10 turrets for that.
Pretty cool concept, also very cute doggo you have :) it was worth playing through it.
The art style was quite nice and unique but also made me a bit nauseous from time to time with the rotation.
Thank you for the feedback! It's a great feeling to know people actually play through the game 😊
Yay I did it!
The main strategy was just to put loads of turrets on the base, having them follow the snake felt a bit like a handicap instead of being more powerful.
Very cool jam theme implementation. It's little bit hard until you find out how to play.
Thank you! I agree, there is still some balancing to be done.
PLEASE ADD W/S AND UP/DOWN. I could barely move my little guy with what honestly feels like some form of tank controls. At least make it an option for the future.
Glad to see I wasn't the only one to make a survivors-like! And the tower defense part is pretty neat. I'd have the descriptions show up on hovering over the items in the center, instead of needing to hover over a separate box.
