Rhythm Strike's itch.io pageJudge feedback

- Game unavailable on itch, so will base review on GDD. I like the idea of a rhythm stick man fighting game, sort of like the old flash animations from the early 2000s. How you incorporate the theme of "Being the Weapon" in this game is an easy fit, with control of the attacks against the enemy. I would like to have seen how you implemented it! Bright colors and a bouncy music theme fit the style of both a rhythm game and a fighter arcade game. For the GDD, remember it is a living document; I see you have a timeline at the bottom with when you expect to have tasks complete. When a task is done mark it done to get that little serotonin hit :)

Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes
Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes
Summarise your game!
Parry attacks and STRIKE your way to victory in this groovy rhythm fighting game.
D to parry
A to block punches
S to block sweeps
W to jump over sweeps
SPACE to STRIKE
(tip: You can attack while in the air to jump over a sweep while performing your STRIKE)
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
The fist is part of the wielder more than any other weapon. In that sense, martial arts is an extension of the user, but when playing a game, game knowledge and skill become the extension of the player. In a rhythm game, the player must use their rhythmic awareness and ability as their weapon to beat the odds and overcome their obstacles to achieve victory.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
The music is friggin sick. Shout out to Eli(Cornsoda) and Saint Sheppard(chickensoup7328).

Sadly the screen says that the developers have not uploaded a game ye
Unfortunately the files got deleted from the site after upload in an attempt to update to fix framerate issues.
that really sucks.
But you can still be proud of what you created ^^. Maybe you can get some friends to play it and give you feedback.
I hope you guys will take part in the next GameJam :)
