Nice idea, sad that you could'nt finish it. I somehow...ended up Starting the game two times and I had two player characters at once. It reminds me a bit of that Wario Ware Inc. minigame where you have to hide your gameboy. 
And don't feel bad, my game is also pretty unfinished. It happens sometimes :)

Did i just kill a guy to play more budget mario? Yeah, I did and I have no regrets. Honestly though, the premise is a hilarious gag and there was something so satisfying about being a petulant lil child and plugging the game back in right after it's unplugged.
