I thought both bosses had great mechanics and were enjoyable. I had the crash issue upon death but understand that could be fixed at a later point and you added the ability to skip cutscenes so wasn't exactly hard to get back into the game. I really enjoyed the snooker boss and having to get the hands to pot to clear up the stage.

I like the visuals overal, the animations are really awesome and all the effects are so fitting, I like the overal concept and mechanics, I had no issues with sounds, but I know you said its unstable version still. I rate graphics, music, fun and control on top but all is cool, also, if you have some time, please, rate my game too, thanks!!!
Really well-made game! I think all the bosses are quite fun (the hand boss being my favorite of them)!
(If you're willing to I'd love it if you'd rate and give feedback to my game! :) )
Man this is some great boss design. Really original and fun. I especially loved the billiard boss; I really like how the balls react when you hit them, bouncing around and all. The joker is pretty tough, I havenât been able to beat him, but I still think heâs great. And the art 10/10. The boss introductions are really cool, though, as others have mentioned, I think they could be shortened a bit. One of the most fun and original games in this jam. Truly excellent work.
I canât thank you enough for your feedback! Youâre right, the long cutscene was a small slip-up we didnât fix in time. Once we realized it didnât really affect the boss fight, we decided to use the rest of our time polishing the game. But once again, I really appreciate the compliments, my friend! :)
Gambling kills... literally! This game is truly underrated. Why i noticd this only by now? Visuals, gameplay and music are fire!
This game probably has some of the best boss designs I've seen in the entire jam! It's insanely original and done with great taste—just incredible. The visuals, effects, and sound are all top-tier! If I had to nitpick, the game's preview doesn't do justice to its quality—I feel ashamed that I almost overlooked it for so long. Outstanding work!
Thank you so much for the huge compliments haha! I can say the same about yours.
We tried to design the boss fights in a way that keeps the player engaged, making sure that even if you die, you're never truly at a disadvantage. Each death is a chance to improve, letting you develop your own strategy and use whatever comes out of the slot machine to your advantage.
Thanks again for the kind words! :)
I really enjoyed the game, but I didn't beated the Joker. His cards attacks are really hard to dodge... Hands fight was nice, with really good balance. Pixelart on point too !
The cover image may not be the most appealing in drawing attention, but the gameplay is certainly something. I see a lot of polish there. Nice game overall.
Hey man, Adam! The first boss was actually supposed to have more attacks, but when we saw we were getting stuck on it for too long, we had to focus on other mechanics like the second boss, cutscenes, the lobby, the slot machine, etc.
The sound bug is real—on some PCs, this happens, and we plan to fix it in the future.
But I just want to say thanks for your feedback and for playing! :)
I really liked the graphic section and the theme! Fighting billiard balls has been a challenge. Congrats!
Very nice art and theme! The boss battles were very fun too. I really liked the idea os spinning the slot machine when dying.
Thanks for the compliments, Biboteur! It's a shame your game had those issues... If you played the web version, it's likely a problem with Unity itself or the browser. We replayed the Windows.zip version multiple times, and at least for us, there were no issues. But it's great that you pointed out the difficulty of the hand boss—a future balance adjustment for the bosses could be interesting. We can only thank you for your feedback! Itâs worth gold to us đ€đ€
Just simple upgrades to make the battle easier, or that change add a gimmick that changes the gameplay, rather than get A but lose B. I think letting the player break a game with cool features and skills is better than pulling the leash like "hey lets not have too much fun now, okay?", like the game is you vs us, rather than you giving us a toy to go wild with.
On a more serious commercial product I can see how the balancing might be a serious thing to work on, but on smaller jam projects like this, it could be more fun for players and more of a learning experience to you to let it break, if it is to break. Like salt on food, when you put too much its over, but when you put too little you can just add some (in this case, being less restraining is the metaphor)
Outstanding pixel art, I am really impressed. I really enjoy the game. I need to train to beat the Joker haha
