A very fun arcade style experience. While I do think the theme of 'spin' itself could've been explored more thoroughly this is still stylistically very nice and a well-put-together game with solid controls and a great foundation. Great work!

I like where the game is headed! The drawings of Cora are solid and the music is pretty neat, though I think I'd like to see more variation with it rather than just one track. I will admit, it feels like you kinda have to squint to see the bullets. Overall, this game is chill :D
cool game with good syntwave music, reminds me of childhood playing games similar to this. the rest maybe add sound effects and projectiles / bullets that are hard to see (maybe because of the background)

Great game in the style of a 1945 arcade shooter! The music is absolute fire — I was already dancing in the main menu. At first, I thought the bullets were a bit hard to see, but that was only an issue in the first stage; later on, they stood out well against the background. Maybe a few more sound effects would add to the interactivity, but overall, this is definitely a solid game!
really fun game you have here! Love the music and graphics and effects! Really like the arcade style alien shooter approach, but I couldn't really find the spin theme that well. Overall though really great game!
(PS: If you're willing to I'd love it if you can rate and leave some feedback on my game! This is my first ever jam and I'd love to see where I can improve for the future!)
I really like the music in this one, synthwave to the max!!! so well made, also the visuals are awesome, I havent passed the entire game but I really want to play fully, its well crafted. I notice that the play area goes to top left corner, I dont know if its how its meant to be, but as said I really like the feel of the game. I rate music, graphics control and fun on top but all is nice, also, if you have some time, please, rate my game too, thanks!!!
It was a fun game, was like a mix of a bullet hell and galaga. It was more than a boss rush and I did not see to much of the spin theme. If you want to, you can rate my game back!
Cool game!
reminds me of the times when I myself played something similar with my parents, and also in adulthood. Pleasant audio and visual accompaniment, good balance in terms of lives and shields, pleasant controls. In general, the whole game is at the same good level, keep it up!
Cute game, I love Cora's design! It's so refreshing to find a shmup with a nice and fast base movement speed. It gives me the option to macrododge whenever I want and that always feels nice. Some of the later patterns however I feel could have benefitted from the player having a "focus mode" where they hold some button to view their hurtbox and kind of slowdown their movement speed to make micrododging between all of those bullets a much more viable and less risky option.
I want to share with you a resource I always come back to when designing SHMUPs, I've always found it to be incredibly helpful in covering all of the major design problems and terminology you'd face when tackling the genre: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yAF2FkgyiYM&list=PLj_fo4j9ZtOlW8jUPFG-zlONynlI0ycnu&index=1
I hope you find some utility in that!
Overall, I loved the visuals, the game over screen, and the music. Very charming! I had fun with this one :]
Great bullet hell! The background is pretty, but it camouflages the bullets, making it a bit straining on the eyes to keep track of them. Still, it's a very fun and nostalgic experience!
Oh hey A Fan-freaking-tastic Synthwave track that came with a free, simple, but fun Shoot 'Em Up? Sign me up!
It kind of felt empty without the sound effects, but the music made up for its shortcomings. Good job!
Just missing sound audio feedback and this would be a pretty solid bullet hell game.
Great intro synthwave theme, really sets the mood!
UI sounds and other SFX are missing, adding those would make a big difference.
Classic top-down helicopter shooter, feels nostalgic.
Cora is cute.
Loving the 90s anime vibes, the art style is great.
The second boss seems indestructible. Spent all my health and shields, but Cora cried anyway :)
Fun game, just needs some sound design and balance tweaks.
Really nice old-school game! Very fun bullet hell bosses, altough for some, after a while, the attack pattern becomes a bit repetitive (mainly for the second boss). The game controls are smooth and precise, very much needed for a game in the genre! The music is very catchy, and the art is great! The bosses look really cool, even more in their more mutated forms!
I have some nitpicks for the game, tho (mainly visual):
- The first background is cool, but a bit too busy, and enemies and projectiles easily blend in and they are a bit difficoult to see.
- The plane enemies don't have a shadow, unlike other flying enemies
- The boss animation is a bit too fast and doesn't really give you time to "feel your victory"
I hope these could be useful if you want to add more to this game! :D
Oh wow, thank you for trying our game ^^ yes, this is our love letter for you all in nostalgic way. Much appreciated for the love of art visual.
As for the feedback, we'll look forward to implement what's the best for this game can be based on yours and everyone. We hope to make this game even proper in the future ^^
