I like the samurai theme in this game, almost monochrome graphics are cool and I notice models are detailed and well made, this give a nice touch, also the mechanics are solid, its great to have combo system and the ability to defend us as well, I like overal everything really, the white black and red colors make us focus a lot into the action and not be distracted in details, well dont, cool game!!!
I really like the esthetics of the game. Cool choice of music. I spanked four of the Bosses, Artemis was the first one that wasn’t as easy as the other once. Cool player skills and Boss variety. Would love to have some audio feedbacks of getting hit or dealing damage.
Overall cool little game. A Job well done!
Thanks for the kind words and the feedback!!! I do agree that there should be more audio feedback.
cool art style. Great 3D game.
Thanks man, happy you liked the art!!
Hey JSavageJS!
I really adore your game concept! The visuals are stunning, and the black, white, and red color scheme works so perfectly together and pleases my eyes. The music you picked gives it such a cinematic feel, like a blend of a movie and a game.
I know it’s a lot of pressure for a jam, but I’d love to see more of your game polished up and ready to play.
You’re incredibly talented!
You've been rated ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Please rate us back! Let’s lift each other up! 🚀
Thanks for the feedback, super glad you liked it. I would like to polish the game up in the future. i did already rate your game but i should probably have left some proper feedback. Thanks once again!!
My pleasure. I'm sorry to have asked for rates, they arent even important. I'm just really glad to have stepped here and met your work.
I'm following you to see more of your work for sure and to play your game again.😎
Good visuals with clean corners. I like the idea.
Thanks, glad you liked the visuals!
visuals are amazing! only thing i would change to the visuals is the ability for the player to rotate the camera. couldn't get pass the black screen glitch but still had fun attempting to get passed it multiple times
Glad you liked the visuals, and camera movement was in during development but gave me a bunch of issues lol. Sorry you got the blackscreen bug. it should be fixed now. thanks for your feedback!!
Pretty cool Japanese ink style you got there, but it is noticeable that it is still unfinished. A big deal for me was that my character had a smaller one behind im animated, while a big ninja figure stood still in front. Regardless of those mistakes caused probably by lack of time the game looks pretty clean. Keep it up!
Happy you liked the art style, and yes there are a bunch of bugs and visual mistakes, thanks for your feedback!
I really like the vibe, but the boss felt a bit easy, and I'm not sure if this is intentional but the screen just turned black.
Overall, a pretty good idea for a game, needs some tweaking and building, but it's a good foundation. Good job!
Sorry you got that black screen bug, There is a link for a less buggy version if you are still interested in playing. Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback!!
As a black and white enjoyer, loved the aesthetic. There's a great idea in using these shadow 2d objects in a 3d space. A bit less red could actually add to the atmosphere, in my opinion, but it's a minor impression. The choice of song was pretty good, it isn't synced up to the action through code, but it has the rhythm of the action of your game, so sometimes the sound and the gameplay match up so well it actually feels like your inputs are shaping the music.
A small garden of great ideas and execution, I adored it.
Glad you enjoyed it! The black-and-white aesthetic was a big focus, and I get what you mean about the red. I appreciate the kind words and the feedback!!
I loved the visuals, but I'm not sure what happened—I tried to play it, and then the screen turned black.
Sorry you experienced the bug, there is a link to a fixed version if you still want to try the game. And thanks for the feedback!
Loved feeling like a sith apprentice duking it out against my master. Visually great! Attack cues make the boss fights manageable too. Wasn't sure what happened but my screen went black when I was close to beating the first boss... Great work!
Glad you liked the visuals. Sorry you got a bug, and thanks for the feedback!!
Visuals all the way! Would love for you to check out our submission too if you have the chance :)
Really interesting art style!
The bosses have some cool attacks, but there is little feedback for getting hit
Yep, I agree it's lacking feedback. Thanks for the comment!
Interesting artstyle, I like what you were going for! The controls are a bit rough around the edges tho but impressive for a game made by one person. Well done!
Thanks for the feedback. I'll be sure to work on the controls!
I really enjoyed playing your game. The feel, style, and responsiveness are on point for me, and despite the web version having audio and graphical bugs, and the bosses feeling a bit easy - I really had a great time fighting all of them. Good work JSavageJS, keep it up! =)
I'm glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for the feedback! Much appreciated!
My favourite attack is the E button.
Thanks, it was also the buggiest ability at first lol
Solid foundational ideas for visuals, combat felt intuitive but needs feeback.
Thanks for the critique! I 100% agree it's lacking feedback.
