Great aeshetic and pretty cool and innovative take on the theme. I particularly loved the fluid physics and the out-there controls, really made an impression on me.
Just a nitpick, I think the slowdown on getting hit coupled with the amount of stuff on screen may be too much at times, it gets difficult to see the projectiles.
Standout entry, best of luck guys!
Love the aesthetic of the game and even though the movement was quite unorthodox it felt very fluid!
I really had a lot of fun playing this game. The controls were really well made and the graphics are amazing as well. Great Job. I loved playing this game.
Truely amazing and one of my personnal favorite from the jam. Music, controls and graphics are all orginals and perfectly fits the game. It also reminded me a bit of tony hawk or skate 3 in some ways... wich I c'ant complain about.
Very cool and unique game, good job!
Perfect game! The game silly. The game spin. The game FUN. The game perfect.
I really enjoyed playing this game, it is so cute and smooth to play. Its chill and frenetic at the same time, sensational mechanic and very creative. Great job, strong entry!
The sounds, the art style, the story, it’s all really good. It’s a very creative game with an excellent execution. What a fun game!
What a unique take on the theme and spectacular implementation of it, I really wish I could give it more than a 5/5 use of theme
Super fun to play, the visuals are incredible, and the boss patterns are very very fun. Awesome game, I would love to see you expand on it!
Good work!
Loved this game !!! The artstyle is UNIQUE so far. Nothing much to say, as it is a solid 5/5 ! Thanks for the experience :()
Really appreciate it!
SO MUCH FUN. Amazing game, everything about it is good! Congratulations on your game!
Thank you!
I absolutely love the concept of this game! (^▽^) The unique spin mechanics really stand out and add an interesting layer to the gameplay, especially how they’re integrated with the bosses keeps things fresh throughout. The visual design really enhances the gritty, darker vibe, and I think the art style complements the gameplay perfectly.
The only thing I’d tweak would be the player's movement or health to make the challenge a bit more balanced, but other than that, it’s a blast to play! (⌐■_■) I also think adding a bit more of a story or world-building could make the experience even more immersive, but that's just a minor detail.
Overall, this is a fantastic entry! Can’t wait to see how it evolves—keep up the great work! 👏
Thanks so much! Really glad you liked the mechanics and art. I was planning to add 4-5 bosses and more story, but I simply didn’t have enough time. But now, it’s time to add some new content!
love the fish and the way of using the theme, had fun spinning didn't fully understood the mechanic of the game like the blood or scores yet, will try again
Thanks!
I loved this game. Visuals and gameplay is so smooth.
Glad you enjoyed it!
wow, very good, fun, beautiful and consistent, really creative, I really enjoyed playing it
So if you can, consider checking out my little game too 👉 👈
Thank you! Really happy you had fun! I’ll surely check out your game.
The visuals make this game quite unique compared to others. The controls feel nice, although a couple of times. I felt that the fish's hitbox was a bit too big. With such inertia, it's very easy to get caught by a projectile, though I managed to beat it on my second try, so it's not a disaster.
However, I felt that the theme wasn't really explored—aside from the word "spin" appearing, there's nothing related to the jam's theme. Essentially, it's just an animation that could have been replaced with anything else. Well, that's just how it seemed to me—no offense.
Overall, I’d rate it 4/5. What surprised me the most, though, was that the game was made in Godot.
Thanks for the feedback! Glad you liked the visuals and controls. I see what you mean about the theme, and I’ve come to the conclusion that making more complicated mechanics would significantly reduce the clarity of the gameplay. But I fully understand your point, and I really appreciate your feedback. Thanks again!
Honestly? I love it. Might be my favorite game until now. One of the only ones I downloaded just because I wanted to play even more. AWESOME WORK!!
Reminds me of that one cover "i am just a fish"
Yep. I didn’t listen to it before, but now I have heard it, and it can be an anthem for this game.
I really, really loved the boss designs and the creative ways you utilized the water mechanic by displacing it with walls or gravity. Amazing work!
Glad you enjoyed the mechanics!
The learning curve is steep but fair with ability cards ! Really liked the visuals.
Thank you!
One of the more creative games of the jam for sure, lol. Good sense of humor, slick presentation, water physics are pretty darn impressive and keep altering the arena in unpredictable ways. I had a pretty hard time with the controls, though. I feel like it's one of those games where there's enough depth to the controls that someone who takes the time to get really good at it can do some insane shit, but I felt like I was flailing and flopping into shots that should have been easy to dodge in a vacuum, but the damned fish won't sit still, lol. Game is also much more enjoyable when I can get the Dash powerup, maybe that could be a standard ability and factored into the design?
Thanks so much!
