I really like the concept, and I could totally see something like this running in a terminal with nerd fonts being a sick retro game

The idea of putting yourself as the final boss is awsome, I love that. I never found out how to use magic or change my team, which is a shame- was that a cut feature?

Magic heals you if you have enough power (the Blue bar that start filling if you use defense), the feature of making your team was cut because of time but still we succeeded to implemented the concept where every time you defeat a boss his minions add to your team making you stronger

Ah, so spending on defense is a trade-off to help you keep magic high as well- that's good to know for a bit of a tactical edge.

I noticed my team getting bigger! That core concept of your game is a lot of fun!
