This was solid.

Had some clarity problems, but the overall story was engaging.

This was another “tail” greatly different from the status quo.

Very high marks here. No points scored for being heartwarming, but if there were, you might be running away with this one.

Though formatting needs some work on a technical level. This one is a bit cluttered on the page.

I can't rate your story for some reason but I read it and it definitely had me hooked and asking questions! I hope you post a part 2 (:

Great job, Tim! Very compelling story with vivid descriptions. Can't wait to read more from you!

Dang it Tim, tear jerkers like this aren't fair!

But for real though, this was great.

Great job. Compelling and heartbreaking.

I came to read about  spacemen fighting and left with an aching feeling in my stomach. A really impactful story that hit differently. Sad-Rat-Gif

This was a great story, really enjoyed the perspective! The ending was a wonderful reveal. Some punctuation issues, but nothing that detracted from the flow.

RATS! Good story. That ending was a sucker punch to the feels. I enjoy you using almost generic combatants. It doesn’t matter who they are. Creates a good grimdark feel.

Interesting. Many times we don’t get bystanders perspectives in universes like this, but this was a real treat. I wish there were more time to develop the story as I feel there could be a real hit in there. Good job.
