Interesting idea, but needs more polish. Movement feels slow, aim wobbling with animation feels off, bullets are reaaally slow. Some boss hit indicators are off (I was outside the circle and got damaged somehow), and boss doesn't take damage when hit while in animation (even though there were blood vfx). The wheel in the beginning also doesn't even matter? (I landed on cyborg in beginning but got zombie anyways). Overall good ideas but needs more tuning.
Gameplay felt a bit slow but it was engaging. Kept me on my toes most of the time. I like how you need to be in the range of the boss to do any damage which was intense. Would've loved more spin theme tho. Like from the crate you can get a random weapon by spinning it. Anyway great job.
Fun western theme! The aim rotation was a little slow for me, would've been nice to be able to whip around to shoot the boss around a rock or something, but understand if that was a balancing choice. I also had some resolution errors on my mac where I couldn't view the UI on the outer corners so I didn't know when to reload etc. Nice work.
Love the arena and setting with the audience all around and also the cutscenes were a pretty nice touch. I think you guys do a good job on the bosses, and I like how they seem to be interacting with the audience lol.
Some feedback that I would give is that when I first started the game, I spent a couple of minutes trying to figure out why I could not shoot my gun, but then I figured out that I had to refill the ammo. I think that it does help let the player know how to refill their ammo, but I would have loved a tutorial that went over the purpose of the ammo box before you put them in a boss fighting situation.
People have mentioned the bullet speed problem already, and as a fellow game developer, the problems are completely understandable due to time constraints.
In any case, good job on this entry!
This is a fun game to play! I think that if the bullets were faster and you didn’t have to wait for the ammo to reload, it would be even better! 🌻🖤 GG
A promising title with visuals but why the bullets these slow and the movement is this slow. Other than those I love the camera angles the theme and the implementation of all of these.
Not exactly actually this is a physics based movement instead of transforming it’s position directly, probably that’s why this making issue on various devices. I apologize for this and thanks for ur valuable feedback!
Glad to found this one as there is 24hours left for rates ! I really enjoyed playing it, also the colorimetric and the desert theme is great, and not that recurente in the jam.
Thanks for ur kind words and valuable feedback! I really appreciate that you enjoyed our game.
Cool game, I especially appreciate the effort put into the visuals—everything looks really nice and polished! The boss attacks are well-telegraphed, which is great. I can see that the deadline might have limited some aspects, but even so, the game is really solid! Great job!
Im sorry, I couldnt go past the intro sequence, which is really cool but Im stuck there, I tried several times and different keys and nothing worked, also I notice the reoslution you set in unity is different to the one you set here, you have to set the same in both so that they match and nothing is off screen. I rate the visuals based on the intro and screenshots hoping I can see the complete game soon as it looks great, also, if you have some time, please, rate my game too, thanks!!
Don’t u watch the skip or continue button in the intro scene?
