The first part left me a little lost and I found it difficult to follow but the second half hooked me immediately.

I personally got a little lost at the end but all in all a good write up, and great use of dialogue. 

You slipped between present and past tense a couple of times but other than that it read alright. It can be really hard to manage telling vs showing with a multiple day story inside a short word count but I appreciate that you didn't let it it get bogged down in details

A fun read. Good job on sticking with the given theme, there's at least 3 significant uses of creative resources going on there!

It’s a really good investigation. Kept me on my toes good job. Didn’t realize he was a jackle. LOL. the ending was pretty funny too.
