This was a good read, but I feel like it could’ve been fleshed out and expanded upon further within the word limit. A way via dialogue or senses to show better how they were having to give blood, etc.

Nice use of the drained, they're my favorite choice for the vampire's infantry.

didn’t really work out for them huh. Good to see someone writing for ogres they don’t get enough love. Each payoff was built up well.
