I wouldn’t say it’s a great use of creative resources, more obvious and well supplied ones, but I dearly love the way this works.

It’s a great short story. Simple, good potential morals while never necessarily demonstrating the protagonist as right, simply devout.

It’s a good time.

Very well done. Compelling is a great word for this. It doesn't hurt that I'm a big fan of the soul snatchers either. So I was rooting for the Apostle from the beginning. It's rare to read something that works this well in such a brief format.

I don't think it does super well for the theme of the jam, but it is an interesting story, and one that could definitely be expanded upon.

Really enjoyed this one. It’s tight and compact yet delivers a compelling story. I rated this one highly, thanks for sharing!

Thanks Greedfeed - I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Definitely a good use of the theme. Love how the title comes back at the end

Thanks chicken_boi7! Title's not my idea - I basically ripped it off from a completely unrelated Opeth song, and liked it so much I used it twice :)

I love the idea of this one, and enjoyed the first person present tense aspect of it. I do think it needs some additional editing passes and expansion to really make it thrive, though. Several key elements could’ve been fleshed out a bit more for me personally.

Thanks Grimdark - I'm glad you enjoyed the idea & tense!  You basically just described my process on this one -  I wasn't planning on participating, but I had an idea I liked, wrote a draft, and did only a small amount of editing before uploading.  Hopefully the next one can get a little more time in the process!
