Absolutely LOVED the opening - it made me laugh out loud. So, first time I played, I fell off the platform backing up and I just fell forever. So, restarted and then had a blast killing those bugs. I want more of that. I hope you get to continue this game.
love me some bugs annihilation
I can relate to this real story .
3 days to fix a bug in my game, and I was looking in the wrong place haha.
Fun story and you hit all the requirements for the round. Was a bit light but fun.
Very relatable story! You did manage to address each part of the criteria although that was really all that was there. The projectiles were fun to shoot and the animals were cool. I think more waves of enemies would have been nice, along with walls to prevent the player from falling off of the map. I liked the story, it was an interesting meta take although I think the cut to gameplay was a little abrupt and felt a little bit disjointed. I'm glad you managed to get something together in the small amount of time you had although I do wish there was a little more. Nicely done!
I love this. Most relatable story I've seen the whole jam.
That was neat. :) Though I did back out in to the void my first time through :P
This feels like gameception and I really enjoyed the narrative design. Projectiles felt very nice to use, along with the accompanying bug monsters and the animations for the player (keyboard and the projectile itself). Also the music was banging. Great job!
I never thought I'd say this but I think the game needs more bugs.
I loved your storytelling BTW. It was a pretty clever approach to the jam requirements, and you technically DID follow all the instructions to the letter
Well done.
Was great to play on stream and have you there to chat!

I barely got my game done in time, and still had to deal with hours of Unity screwing me over. Love the opening cutscene, but It it a little too close to home.
Unfortunately that video was real… taken 5mins before I started dev on this game. *cries*

Nooo the project :( This game is a timeless tragedy, thank you for sharing it. I also hope you'll finish the original game and publish it, I would be interested in playing it even tho it can't compete in this round.
If by some ungodly miracle I survive I plan to go back to continuing the game engine (will have my main pc again in time for the next round which has working drivers)
cool concept, nice touch with the opening cut scene!
The best stories are based on truth… :(
Haha this opening cutscene is tooo true to life, but I love it.
It would be nice if a new wave of bugs swarmed in after clearing the first, but obviously with time constraints there was gonna be room for improvement. Still, love the concept!
Yeah I want to add a wave based mechanic sorta thing as you re-add in functionality which introduces additional bugs (would be a fun way of introducing mechanics)
