This was great. Fluid gameplay with a touching story. I liked the little touch on the stage names. I wish I had seen it during the rating period. I thought I’d still have time today but it’s already closed. There seems to be some minor issue with the background. At some point it went black and stayed black. Didn’t affect gameplay. Also unrelated, did you draw the spirtes yourself? I love them. I actually have been working on a game where I have an enemy that looks almost the same as your 9 eye monster thing. I also have a black outline shader very similar to yours :)

Had a lot of fun and the style was really nice!
I did have a bug where, each time I game over'd, the background would be broken. The first time it was completely black on each level, the second time it had that stringy foreground color, but the background was still purple>
My cursor also disappeared on multiple occasions, mainly when choosing pills

Great game.  Really professional and polished.  I loved the story, the combat, and the upgrades.  Unfortunately, I wasn't very good and couldn't save my dog, but I liked trying.

I almost got ending B on my first try, but instead I got hit once. Loved the gameplay! It was all so lovingly crafted to be as fine tuned as it could be. The movement felt so natural, the combat was fluid and fun, and the upgrades added so much enjoyment. The visuals and audio are also on point. The story was great!

Loved the mechanics, loved the story, I had to restart 3 times to get to ending B.

The polish on this game for a short period of time is incredible. The upgrades had a surprising amount of variety. It seems like the green pills expire after you win with them which isn't really explained and just discourages you from picking them even if they are fun upgrades. The criteria was addressed amazingly, the animal was cute and fun and the projectiles and combat were really fun. I didn't encounter any bugs except for I named my dog gamergirlxxx and that caused the text to have a stroke when it says their name at the start cutscene/dialogue. That's about the smallest issue ever but I felt like I should mention it. There could have been maybe just a little more juice, especially upon killing an enemy. I found the story enjoyable but I really don't think I can do another sad dog story 😭. Fantastic job!

Really polished, Great Entry with a solid narrative, although heart breaking in my case seeing me dogs name on the grave but gave me a good laugh! Keen to see how the game balance could progress further, I found myself a little OP in the last few rounds with all the upgrades I chose (that doesn't really factor into the ranking) just thought might be some nice feedback. Hope to see you in round 3!

Even though I got the sad ending (and three password letters) I'm really impressed with this game. The projectile upgrades are really good and the enemy designs are top-notch
