It was pretty fun! Some sounds and this game will be awesome!
Well done! :D
This game has some fun projectiles! I had the most success with the rifle. The sniper seemed pretty hard to use.
I got far enough that the dialogue started repeating and I wasn't sure if there was an ending. I never got the Moon's Wish.
I loved the wiggly sprites. Good job, fun game.
Really fun game. I don't think I was very good at it, but I didn't care I just loved shooting that shotgun. The game desperately needs some sound effects though for all those blasts and destructions. I liked this a lot and I really hope you get to continue it. Also, cool title.
I had a lot of fun and ended up playing way too long lol. Shotgun with explosive bullet + homing bullet lead to an incredible combo in wich i can stay afk and kill every things. super satisfying.
I did not understand what was the animal and what role it had. Was it a moon's wish? I died before getting any.
The animal upgrades start appearing on the second run onwards! I should have given dome indication of that before, but did not have time to do so
I love the animations and the wave survivor loop was a really good call. I enjoyed experimenting with different weapons and upgrades. The animal themed upgrades were also a clever move, though it did stretch the requirements a little bit haha.
The aspect ratio was a bit funky for me since I wanted to play full screen but then I couldn't see the text at the bottom anymore, but I just played in windowed mode so it didn't bother me.
Overall, I really enjoyed the game and I'd love to see it expanded further or more like it. Keep up the good work!
Thank you! I really wanted to get the aspect ratio working, but I’m still figuring out how the UI scaling works. And I’m all for stretching the theme to its limits!
I think your UI is correctly set to scale with the screen size, but it's set to match width or somewhere in the middle. You will want to set the anchor point for your individual UI elements to the bottom of the screen or change the canvas to match height, right now the UI elements are likely pinned to the center of the screen, not the bottom edge, so when the user presses full-screen on a wider monitor, the width increases more than the height-the UI canvas has to scale up the height too much to compensate and the UI elements end up getting scaled off the bottom of the screen as a result. I hope that makes sense?
Well, that was good time :)
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Great game with, I like these types of game wave games, they get addicting.
Thank you! This is my first time making an upgrade based game and I'll definitely be trying it again in the future
This is a cool concept! I was a bit confused by the story at the beginning, but I think I got it after a few rounds.
The story was a bit of an afterthought, but I knew I had to squeeze one in. Thank you, I hope you enjoyed the game!
It's... quite addictive!
Like, I'm going to play another game of this after posting this comment!
Good job!
Thank you! I played a similar upgrade based game in round 1 and that really inspired me this time around :)
