How does the game fit the theme?
Well this is my take on Nothing can go wrong where it all looks normal but it actually changes every level. This is my first ever game and Im hoping it fits the theme well enough.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The only thing I did not make or code is the fonts used and the music which comes from the Brackey Platformer tutorial video.

How many people worked on the game?

The simple style is done perfectly, movement felt great as well. Good job!

Really interesting concept. I hope you continue working on the project to create more levels in the future. Even if it was short, I found it enjoyable. Good job!

Developer

Thanks!

Simple but effective, a little too short but fine

Liked the idea of fiding your way through the invisible map, but I think it could have more levels

Developer

Yea unfortunately did not have the time to make more levels. Thanks for playing!

This brings me bac to that one game I've used to play before! It's a well thought puzzle game, I really loved this concept

Busted a few laughs. You got quite the concept. Good job! Keep it up.

Game is nice, but I think you could add up more levels as the game felt very short. Try adding AI enemies to the game which would also make it a little more difficult.

Developer

Don't actually know how to code enemies yet lol. Still working on skills but thanks for playing!

Very cool game (especially since it's your first one). Interesting idea. You can check mine out too.

Developer

Will absolutely take a look when I get some time

Ok, game review with NO subjectivity :

👉 "First of all, I liked the quick progression between levels, it's smooth, it loads quickly, and there are no bugs...     👉Secondly, your game works, it’s a bit short, but I had fun playing it, honestly, as a first game, it makes you want to finish it.

However, I can’t get past level 7, I spent 10 minutes on it, I don’t understand, I thought it was a bug, I restarted, still nothing. I saw someone who passed level 7, how did you do it?

(PS: I love the animation of the little guy)"

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the review! When it comes to level 7 there is no answer. It was supposed to be a joke but I guess I wasn't clear enough. I haven't had time to fix it yet! Again, thank you for the thoughtful insight into your experiences!

You could add something where, if the player waits for a moment, the game appears to bug or start crashing, making them think they have to quit. This would reinforce the theme in a clever way. 👍

Actually really good game for you first game ever!!

Music is cute.

Although… I cannot really put my finger down on how it ties with the theme. It looks normal but then changes every level…
