How does the game fit the theme?
Nothing can go wrong... Or go right, or go left...
In Calculus, you control a spaceship with very simple controls:
Press nothing and the instruction nothing will occur (either left, right or wrong).
Press something and the instruction something will occur (either left, right or wrong).
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Music and SFX are from Ovani Sound.
Some shaders are from https://godotshaders.com.

Interesting concept! The part with the math was a complete surprise.
Very creative game design, it was hard at firs but had lots of fun! Great work.
Tried to stay alive to enjoy the music longer :) the control swap adds a nice twist!
I loved how you mixed the theme with shoot them up mechanics, loved having a quick and understandable tutorial !
I just started the game and understood everything it had to do to play it!
You have done a great job, congratulations !
A very unique concept and take on the theme! An asteroid game based on math? Such a fun idea!
The game can be a little overwhelming but when you're finally in the zone, it's really satisfying.
Great job!
Much more fun than the calculus i'm used to! Fun idea to flip the controls like that. Really enjoyed it!
Not the calculus I remember, but this is such a cool concept! I'm a substitute teacher by day and I can say with absolutely certainty that the elementary kids I work with would absolutely lose their minds over these mechanics regardless of if it were math, spelling or any other subject.
I also think there's a real possibility they'd lose their minds with how tight the calculation changes are in proximity to the next incoming target. I have an engineering degree and even I felt robbed on a couple of occasions.
Really though, this is such a cool concept with so much utility outside of just being fun. Great job!
Amazing concept,. Really enjoyed playing it. Coming back again ...
Nice game. It took a bit to get used to the controls, but after a while it became easier.
Really enjoyed the game, I did not pass the first level though after 12 tries.
The inversion of control is a very good concept for the jam theme.
Congrats!
Very clever idea and interpretation of the theme, and deceptively difficult for such a simple concept. Nice!
