I'm so hyped for Vladimir, if by the end of this something happens to them I will be sad. NO VLADIMIR I ONLY WANTED TO HANG OUT WITH YOU. No but jokes aside, very fun, I love the aesthetics here, fully committing to the retro look is always respectable. Really fun with some twists even, and actually a lot of things here for the time limit, so great job!

I wish i could give more stars for sound design... but there is none :(
But except this, game is quite cool, and is polished and finished, so that's a huge plus. Also laughed a lot at some funny sentences, the writing is great! ;D

Developer(+1)

That is TOTALLY fair! I couldn't find music I actually liked and that fit the game's vibe, so I ended up going without. I'll probably commission a musician once the jam's over, I'm saving up :D

And thank you for the kind words, I appreciate it :D

Noooo, why Vladimir?!!?

But for real, the game is great - story and aesthetics especially. Only thing i would nitpick is no sounds - it would be great if there was even a little bit of sound (even a little bit of music).

Either way. a great game (and so trueee)! ^^

Developer(+1)

Sorry... If that makes you feel any better, there's multiple endings where Vladimir is okay? ^^

I totally agree about the sounds and I actually am saving up to hire a musician once the game is over. Truth is, I wanted a very specific kind of vibe that would fit with the old macintosh aesthetic, and the 8bit songs I found leaned too much fantasy for the setting. I should have teamed up with a musician from the get go but I didn't expect I'd be so picky about it. ^^'

Wow! This was such an enticing story! I really enjoyed it. The art is very pretty, and the writing is phenomenal. I almost never go back in visual novels to see all the endings, but in this shorter one, I really enjoyed my time figuring out how to get them all.

Developer

Thank you! People going back to get more endings is the best compliment someone can pay a visual novel :D

Really well written and fantastic visuals, amazing work! I'm glad theres a save system as it allowed to me to find all 5 of the endings.

Developer

Thanks for the kind words! I can't take credit for the save system though, it comes with Renpy from the get go! :D

This was a fun little game! Little but still impressive you knocked it out in a week! I tried but I couldn't find the ending where you turn Vladimir into a vampire.

Great work! Your corporate overlords are pleased with your performances.

Developer(+1)

Thank you, sadly there isn't a vampire vladimir ending because I ran out of time >_<

fun with some nice cynicism. The dialogue and the artwork paint a clear and depressing picture. But there is hope! At least for me and the first ending that I got. Nice work!

Developer

Thank you for playing my game!

I kinda used this game as a way to work out some real life frustration with my day job and I think it shows XD

Wow, I thoroughly enjoyed following this game from start to jam submission! Really took the theme and made it awesome, when I saw the aesthetic and in progress shots I already wanted to play this game immediately! Sometimes people forget that VNs are stories at the end of the day, and I really really enjoyed the writing. It was clever and immersive, extremely relatable and still managed to surprise me! Thanks so much, develop it into a full story please!! And if you want extra art, I'd love to join. I rather be a vampire office worker than an office worker.

Developer

Thank you so much for playing my game! The aesthetic was strongly inspired by the Ren'py Hypercard Framework that I used (my first computer was a macintosh performa, so that was very nostalgic). I wish I had more time to do proper pixel art for the sprites and the backgrounds, but I had to cut a couple of corners for time's sake!

I'm so glad you enjoyed my writing, as english isn't my mother tongue I get a little self conscious about it at times XD

I don't know if I'll work on this specific game again for a while (I still haven't finished my detective story  VN and I have a fairytale inspired one in the works)... But I might hit you up if I do, solo projects are a lot of work lmao.

Thank you again :3c
