The game was cool, though. Really liked your art style. Nice sounds and ambient. Especially for you first jam.
Some checkpoints would be nice. Great job!

How does the game fit the theme?
The game fits the theme in two distinct ways. In the gameplay department, you must be flawless, getting caught will make you restart the level from the beginning. (Dw it is not a big level) .As for the story, it plays with the meaning of wrong, subverting what we would expect how we would say the theme sentence.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
- Things I did not create myself :
- Materials : Besides the hand drawn ones, I utilized some UE5 Starter Content and Quixel materials.
- Music/SFX : All of the SFX and Music I got from Ovani Sounds!
- VFX : I only utilized one for the dash, it came from the free on Fab, KCISA -Korean Traditional Pattern Effect.
- 3D Models : I got the CCTV Camera, free on fab, from soap2k, CCTV Camera - Game Ready.
- Projectile Class in C++, from GameDevTV course, I had to use a projectile in my game and re utilized what I built during the course.

Thank you for the comment! Sorry for the file sizes, I am definitely researching a lot in this past day about optimization, I have a couple of hints on why its too performance intensive for some people. I wanted to add some checkpoints, but I didn't have enough time. How did you find difficulty and gameplay? I did this jam on my own, without any one that could playtest my game besides me, so now I want as much feedback as I can, I feel like maybe the controls/movement were not really intuitive for some people. Will try out your game now!
Level design is great.
Perks may be not that intuitive. Better picture corresponding button on top of it and make some kind of visible cooldown next to it. Also, there is a bug with dash. It does not reset your vertical speed. Great game, but UE might be an overshoot) Also, UE4 have Web build support
ive seen worse, some tips would be to add checkpoints and to fill the space a bit more, it was kind of empty
Thank you for the comment, I wanted to add more to the background/ create more things on the level. Time was definitely an issue. I think I was a bit out of touch regarding difficulty for the game, I didn't have any other person to playtest it besides me, I was afraid the game was WAY too easy. From other peoples review it seems that I overlooked how fair the game felt. Will play your game next!
It lacks a lot of optimization, making it hard to play. Still, the aesthetics and music are pretty cool!
Yeah, sorry for that. My first ever game jam and because it worked fine on my computer, given some small hiccups but generally running around 45-50fps with an occasional drop to 30, I didn't even think about the performance issues. Thank you for trying and for the comment! Will play your game and leave a comment as well!
It looks great on screenshots and id love to play it but the game just crashes when I try to open it. I am not going to rate your game because of that, hope you can get it fixed
good luck :)
Would love to play, But I couldn't because somehow my PC wouldn't let me play Unreal game :(
The concept and art style looks distinct and great tho!
