How does the game fit the theme?
Print It Please draws inspiration from everyday tasks that seem simple at first but quickly become unexpectedly complicated. As a team, we reflected on how printing something rarely goes as smoothly as expected, making it a perfect fit for the theme. Additionally, we incorporated a setting where a seemingly straightforward job gradually expands with more and more unexpected responsibilities, reinforcing the idea that "nothing can go wrong"—until it inevitably does.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The 3D assets (asset store), some 2D icons (game icons) and the music were not made by us.

How many people worked on the game?

What a fun and well polished game! The concept is so original and feels completely appropriate for the theme. The fact that printing something, which should be simple, turns into a series of unexpected complications is a brilliant idea and very representative of what often happens with printers. I loved the way the seemingly simple job gets more and more complicated, giving it that “nothing can go wrong… until it inevitably does” feel.

The visual design is stunning, the effects and animations are so satisfying, especially the moment of hitting the printer, it was great! The music and sound effects also fit the tone of the game perfectly. I really felt like I was working in an office, which is a rare but fun feeling in a game. Although after a while, yeah, I did feel like I was stuck in an office work loop, haha.

The game flow is very clear and satisfying, with a nice touch of puzzles that keep getting more complex. The small feedback on the position of the reset button is helpful, as I accidentally pressed it a couple of times, but nothing that ruins the overall experience.

Overall, this game is extremely polished, and the experience was so much fun that I completely forgot I was playing a jam game. great job!

Wow, thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback! Printers are such an incomprehensible piece of technology for me. It should just work, but it's never that simple, right?

Glad you liked our game!

Haha, totally! Printers are the ultimate chaos machines — they always find a way to break down at the worst moment. You captured that feeling perfectly, and it made for such a fun and relatable experience. Congrats again on the game, you all did an amazing job!

By the way, if you have some time to check out our game and share your feedback, I’d really appreciate it. A big hug!

Really creative concept, bringing some light-hearted fun to what is usually a universally frustrating experience.

Congrats on the project!

Wow, the game is so cool and enjoyable. I loved the polished art style you chose.
It was one of the best entries I had played in this jam!

Edit: I don't know if it's a bug or if I missed something, but in the fourth task on the colors issues the palette to change color was still disabled, so I couldn't fix the problem to move forward.

Developer

Thank you! I agree it is not so clear, you actually gotta click the thing you wanna recolor to enable the buttons.

You can always count a printer to go wrong! What a unique and fun concept for a game! The concept is simple, print the picture according to the guide, that might seem easy if the printer doesn't have a mind of its own.

The visual and all the animation in this game is amazing, they are very well animated and has that oomph feel to it, especially the hitting the printer part, that was very satisfying

This is one of the most polished game in the entire jam! Great job!

All the visual effects and polish on this are insane! It looked and felt great to play.

The gameplay loop was clear and intuitive, with the puzzle elements always shifting in a satisfying way. Although after a while I did feel a bit too much like an office worker... haha.

Great work across the board!

Wow, this game is amazing. I played through all of the levels and really enjoyed the game loop. The music and animations of bashing on the button and printer really felt great.

Small feedback I would have is that the reset position button was closer to the toggle view than I would’ve liked. I hit it on accident a few times after making lots of adjustments and it made me really sad to see it all get set back. It would’ve been nice to see at the very end how many pieces of paper I printed, because I definitely wasted a lot lol.

Great game!

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! I definitely agree there could be some unfortunate misclicks there. And YES, we really wanted to make the wasted paper count, we just ran out of time :'(

Glad you liked it!

The polish is *pristine*. The 3D assets + music were utilized really effectively, making the game simply a pleasure to look at.

I didn't really understand how fixing the color worked, so I brute-forced the solution to those. Really liked this entry!

I'm glad you managed to push through your fight with the printer. Thank you for your kind words!

As both an IT support person and graphic designer I felt this game in my bones. Great entry with so much polish. I particularly liked the job listings at the start. The sound design was awesome and the music very fitting. The visuals with the half-tone style was perfect and gameplay loop is super fun. I could go on. 15/10 would hit that printer again.

Developer

I'm sorry if this brings you past traumas!!! Hopefully, bonking the printer released some of that tension. Thank you for playing!
