I love this idea so much, the art is so good!! really liked how you added the controls into the scene too. I did find the walking to be a bit too slow and the orders to be too fast, but otherwise this is one of my favs <3

Thank you! This was the fist time I ever made pixel art for a game, so glad you liked it! AND ONE OF YOUR FAVS? THANK YOU!!!!!

Visuals are great, with really good overall styling and consistency. Audio was really great as well! Sound effects and music were very immersive. Good game!!

I did get stuck on the recipe screen on web version but happily refreshed and avoided it after to experience the fun of the potion making.

Developer

Thank for the letting us about the bug! We'll add it to list of bugs!!! Glad you enjoyed it!

A cool game about making potions! It starts out pretty easy but get quite frantic as time goes on and more and more orders come through. I love the cute pixel art style of the game, especially on the main character, she first the novice witch aesthetic really well.

Overall this was very pleasant experience, great job!

Developer

Thank you! This was my first time doing pixel art for a game!

Lovely game, potion making was fun, visuals were very nice, and the learning curve wasn't bad at all.

Nice work!

Developer

Thank you!

Really nice job ! I enjoyed the retro style, sprites mixed with 3D view ! I didn't immediately understand that I had to go and get the empty potion to collect the potions in the cauldron, but it did in the end.
Good work !!

Developer

Thank you! Yeah you're not the only one, glad you figured it out!

So cute! But also quite stressful trying to figure out which things made what XD

This game is great, I especially love the visual gags with the setting menu and the space to jump button, really funny stuff!!

Developer

Thank you! We debated on including them or not.

Good game and mechanics, I really liked the variety of potions you can create. Although, it stressed me out that so many kept appearing and I couldn’t finish them all while figuring out how to make them. But in the next run, I already knew the combinations (and that there was a table to leave finished potions), so it was much more fun. The controls sometimes felt heavy and slow, but everything was much better with a controller. The art is beautiful! 🕸️

Thank you!!!

Great game, had a lot of fun trying to manage the two cauldrons and discovering the correct recipes for the potions. I didn't realize about the tips in the book until it was too late.

Developer

We really threw you in the deep end haha! Thanks for your kind words!

That was a lot of fun! A bit stressful, which matches the theme very well! I would have loved to have more cauldrons to brew more potions.... but seeing how overwhelmed I got I probably would have ended up with more trash than useful potions lol. Nice job!

Yeah! Thanks for checking it out!

Looks super cool but for some reason the game started up super zoomed in and I wasn't able to see most of the screen :(

A few people have said that, not sure why from our end when we play it looks fine. Well look into more thanks again!

Very fun, I did indeed figured it out (nice tutorial) It reminded me a lot of overcooked, well done

This game shared similarities to another I just recently played Gno something. So the pickup was quite quick to get a grasp on things. I enjoyed the 2.5 D in some aspects of the game.

The title screen art and the game art didnt quite match but I see the connection. Same with the UI.

I think the above is what I would improve to polish more overall for the game. Work on some more shaders to be used for 2.5D. Maybe more movement in the outer rim of the backgrounds (darker area)

What I would like to see is more interactions with the incorrect combinations.

I would also like movement system of furniture.

Great product within a short amount of time.

I played the Gnome game as well. Thanks, yeah there alot thing we wanna work on after the jam, this feedback is great thank you! We had discussed on doing more more bad combo reaction like blowing up but time wasn't on our side, but definitely something we wanna look into again post jam.

Nice looks and perfect music for that. At first I didn't realize that the bottle is on the bottom. Felt pretty fun to play, even though I think the game was more on the slower side.

A very solid entry :) which is funny, because your game revolves around liquid potions :D

You're very punny! Thank you! It's hard to find the great difficulty for a game jam game, but thank you! We plan on looking that the difficultly and adding a real tutorial after the jam.

I loved the 2/3D style! The gameplay also felt very stressful, which I liked. Had difficulties managing the couldrons and accidently making brown goop. Great submission!

Developer

Thank you!!!
