How does the game fit the theme?
You have one job, click and hold that button. Do your job and nothing can go wrong.

This is a rougelike game, with no limits to your upgrades... what can go wrong ? Please don't be insane and really hold that button so long... XD

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Only the fonts. It is from: https://kenney.nl/assets/kenney-fonts

It's so fun! and i love the upgrades and the shop system, lil hard for me though but still very high ratings!
What a great "clicker" game lol. Very simple execution that was well polished and was actually super addicting. If I had any complaint it would be that your background music loop could have been a little cleaner. But everything was great! Wonder if ya'll had game planned using different types of cursors?
A fun little clicker game! With simple gameplay mechanic--protect the button by clicking away the enemies--but don't let this game simplicity fools you, it's actually quite challenging, especially at the start while you have little to no upgrade.
Although I really like that the button changes visual when it takes damage, I wish there was a clearer indication of how health the button has.
Other than that, this was a very entertaining game! Great Job!
At first I thought it was going to be something like aim labs. But it turned out te be an idler! Had su much fun and tried to max out everything. But it become too easy after some point maybe harder enemies would work.
Very great game idea and design! Great job!
Not sure what I am suppose to do, held on to the button for 5 mins and the game was over? JK let go and find out
does the game goes on forever? this is a nice game i buy a lot of point increaser and clones.
number go up, brain happy. I think you could have done more with the music, but the sfx were crunchy and the visuals were great.
I think the introduction in the game is very unique (was tempted to see what would happen if I did just press the button but was not able to wait), and the execution of the defence concept is well done overall. It got a little boring in the late game with the clones (but seemed too difficult without them), so it may be worth trying to see how the game loop could be made more interesting later on beyond just difficulty in volume/speed.
Thanks for playing my game!!!
It's fine, nothing will go wrong if you hold the button till the end, and I wasn't expecting anyone crazy enough to hold it that long anyway XD.
For now, I've actually dialed down the difficulty for this game jam so its easier for others to play. Game still need some balancing, more enemies, and different mode especially after buying the "Rock of wisdom".
Nooo, I doomed humanity :(
Very fun concept. I like those games where you can just "follow the rules", even when they seem strange. Next time i'll just keep holding that button.
A little bit addicted, it was really fun and has a lot of charm to it!
Really like the upgrade system and the clones were life savers; not to mention the ROCK (Not Mr. Johnson).
It reminds me of an indie game called "Cursorblade" but a different take on the concept of using the cursor to interact with the game.
OH MY GOD THOSE WERE THE MOST LIFE-CHANGING 5 MINUTES EVER!!!!
(actually I stopped holding by accident in my first gameplay and my pc crashed, let's pretend this never happened lol)
Playing this game as clearly intended was peak gameplay
The 5 minutes I spent on this webpage holding the button were, without a doubt, the greatest 5 minutes of my life
I've reconnected with both myself, the world, and reality itself, life past playing this game is uncomparable with the life I lead up to it, which is now merely a distant memory of a time of lesser love, truth and beauty
I was jaming out to the music when i accidently let go of the button, it then all went wrong from there! Loved watching the ai pointers zoom around doing the work for me, got stressfull at times for me as im not someone who plays these types of games, but i liked the challenge. I also loved the text talking to the player as you held it down, i was expecting the button to move away from the mouse so i was suprised when i actually was able to hold it down the entire time.
