How does the game fit the theme?
You want to move, hire movers to do the job, what could go wrong ? Well the movers you hired found some new technologies and might not be the most talented to use it...

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
We reused the combo sounds from Jet Set Radio and left placeholder sounds found in copyright free banks, All the other assets were handmade

How many people worked on the game?

Well done.

This is a very cool game! I love the combo system and figuring out how to get the parcel to the next mover is challenging yet fun. The art is lovely too, nice work!

This is a really fun game! Great mechanics and very original. Good job!

I liked this one! Actually pretty similar to our theme, moving packages and with 3 strike system 😀. I would maybe like to have little bit more control on the intensity of the throw, so when it goes to full i would still like to have option to reduce the intensity. Maybe click on the mover guy and based on direction and distance of the drag cursor from the guy? It would also make gameplay faster. But overall really enjoyed it!

Developer

Thank you! We didn't think of reducing the force! I'll write it down for the full release!

Really fun game, very smooth animations and gameplay. Got myself in some quite nonsensical situation, it was great xD

This was a really fun game! I enjoyed passing around the boxes to get to the truck! I noticed that other people have already told you about the wall friction, so I have another suggestion for future games like this: input buffering. It can be annoying if you click a little early or late and miss the box completely, so giving like a 0.2 second window can really do a lot. I'm not sure if the game already has this or not but there were a few times when I felt like the click should have picked up the box but it didn't and input buffering is usually a good fix to that.

Developer

Thank you very much! I implemented input buffering for jumping but I didn't think of it for grabbing the box! I'll note it down for the full release thank you!

I really love this game, feels so satisfying to play, only recommendation is to give the player a physics material 2d, with friction set to 0, that way it won't get stuck on walls, although the platforming isn't that hard here to really lack that, it generally feels better imo

But that's really nitpicking, loved the game

Thanks a bunch for the tip!

I really loved it! I wish it had more levels so I could keep playing, great job.

The mechanics and movement were tricky at first, but once I got the hang of it, passing the box between workers without it touching the ground and earning more points felt super satisfying. And the use of inertia… impressive! 🕸️

There’s a small bug with the characters and the walls where they sometimes get stuck.

Developer

Thank you very much! We plan on releasing a full game with a lot more levels and mechanics (like a trampoline and a lot more). We also noticed the wall stucking thing but it was late in developpment and were scared to fix it and break the whole game!

Cool, I’ve followed you and saved the game. I’m interested to see how it progresses! 🕸️

I had an immense amount of fun with this one. It took me back to the early days of the Xbox 360 Arcade.

I wouldn't have hated having a slightly wider window for catching and I felt on a couple of occasions that the camera was either dragging too far behind or was slightly too far ahead.

Ultimately, this is likely the most fun I've had with the jam rating so far.

I love the mechanics,it's really fun.

Super fun! Felt really satisfying to pass and catch the boxes, making riskier and riskier moves. Really think you’re onto something here! Making me reconsider my profession here… perhaps I was destined to be a delivery guy ;)

Ps. I found a glitch that allows for infinite points: spam click when you have passed the box to the last guy. This was my score by doing this just for some seconds on the first level:

Thank you very much! We knew it could be an issue but were not sure on how we could fix it, so we kept it as is and hoped it would make people who find it laugh! Thanks for the warning nonetheless!

Very strong jam entry. Good interpretation of the theme. There was something just really satisfying about chucking a box, catching it with right-click, and getting carried away with it lol. Definitely a game that I could see polished into a full release. Great job

If you get a chance, I'd appreciate any feedback about my game as well. Thanks!

Developer

Thank you! We are planning to do a full release! Glad you like it!

Clever and innovative idea. Love the sounds and the gameplay however there are some things that needed to be polished and I don't really understand why I should throw the next character because in some cases I tried the shortcut but that didn't work. Overall a good game that has a potential and I would like to see and play the next version. Great job.
