Cute game!! Loved the art style and aesthetic. The cherry blossoms were gorgeous!

Critiques:

-like the other guy said, add clouds. Theyd make the game look a little better. GO to craftpix. Thats were i got my background for my game for this jam.

-The camera could be smoother. It kinda strained my eyes as the camera instantly went from 0 to 100. There are tutorials for this on youtube. Its not too hard to ipleent

-the controls can be polished just a little more

-checkpoints would be an excellent addition! (i died so much lol)

I see what you're saying about the camera. Is there any particular tutorial you could recommend?

Neat little game! I think everything overall is perfectly fine, but my critiques:

There should be more guide for the player (Even little texts just scattered would be super sweet.

A bit more art. I love your aesthetic and art style. I think a cloud background or something of some sort to fill in empty gaps, perhaps with things you can interact with?

Last, a more refined ending? (Ik it's time sensitive) Maybe it bugged for me. But overall you have a finished project, a solid foundation to also build upon, and I had a wonderful experience playing. Thank you!

These are just some of my random tips and comments, that you don't even have to listen to. Just throwing them out there. 😋

originally, I wanted to have spinning pinkish diamonds in the sky at about a 25% opacity, but I was running out of time to post the game by deadline. I would like to make it so when you get to the ending, there's a portion that enlarges your score and asks if you'd like to play again, but I don't know how to code that yet.
