Interesting game and cool concept :) I like how the gameplay integrates the feeling of being lost, like after 5 tries to get to the bathroom already 2h passed and the day's almost over. Although if i have to be a little bit peaky, theme feels more shuffling than erasing to me but the game message and the end twist are both very cool. The music is nice, and the graphics pretty. Well done !
At first I felt frustrated not being able to complete tasks because of how the game plays out, but then I realised that's probably the message the devs were trying to get across, considering the themes of the game. Also wasn't expecting that ending - nice one!
I'm torn!
I thought the art was really lovely, and audio was great
But also, I found the premise upsetting :(
sometimes I have difficulty remembering stuff, and I feel like this preyed on that, or accentuated it.
Haha I like Bob! Good engine for tilemaps/rpg
This game was really interesting. The mechanic at first glance seems simplistic, but I found it making me really forget which room was where after the first couple days and represents the memory loss really well. I found it a bit moving, relating to the never-ending list of tasks that I must complete before days end, and feeling bad for this being who is living this life. The music created a great compliment to those feelings. I enjoyed the twist ending as well. Really well done!
Thank you! Before finding a story and a name for the game we were jokingly calling it "Alzheimer simulator", so I'm very happy to hear that we hit the spot!
I love omori, thus, I came prepared
5 days until I bobbed
Also nice splash art at the end, and a nice little twist
