Loving the style! The style alone made me want to play it right away. Very curious to what this game might bring if you guys will work on it later!
As others have said, the visual approach is very idiosyncratic and vivid. Brilliant use of color to make something that stands out from the usual grimdark palette. Mapping these to a 3D environment works really well too, with the train providing plenty of excuse to provide billboarded assets with a nice parallax effect out the window. Lots of little tricks to suggest that you're experienced with how to create a convincing environment with visual effects.
I thought the idea was good! Sound design is always a great idea to base a game around., and the syringe and hulking passengers make such a strange but strong visual impression. The game really is contingent on having stereo headphones it seems - it can be a little tricky to make the right guess. Finding some variation in the gameplay loop could also help provide some variety: perhaps there are other elements involved in the deduction.
Nice work!
The art style is incredibly, but unfortunately this game is let down by its design. I couldn't figure out how to complete the game, and it falls apart when the train becomes monstrous, with extremely loud noises which I had to turn down.
I think the premise is awesome, and the idea of the drawing blood and sacrificing mechanic, but it needs more explaining and feedback as I never knew if I was doing it right... massive kudos to whoever made the art!!
This is a simple idea that could have benefitted from having to find more than one passenger over multiple carts. Once I sussed what I was doing it became rather trivial so I just kept running down the train because I thought the art style was really cool. Good Stuff though.
