Gameplay was pretty fun! Mad respect for having full voice acting.
i'm a documented fan of when a mechanic is useful in more than one context, especially if it's unexpected. and well you definitely checked all those boxes here!
Oh, neat. It's pretty interesting how the same set of mechanics can feel totally different if placed in another context. The voice acting was a fun surprise too!
This is fun and the voice acting is very nice
God this made me happy. It felt playful, campy, and charming! The voice acting was a nice surprise and the gameplay really felt like a good setup with beat boxing and then paying off with the eat boxing. Great work, and a really nice framework in place in case you ever wanted to go further with it.
Super high tempo and high hit tolerance makes for a surprizing and fun experience, I don't think I've ever seen anything like that in a rhythm game! Makes you look super cool, honestly didn't expect myself to hit a single note but I got a 32 max combo or so (which is 32 more than I expected lmao). Overall very fun experience and yeah, as others have already noted it's super rare to see all lines voiced, let alone on a jam!
It's pretty rare to see a voiced game in a jam, I also like how the animated font emphasizes what's being spoken! The simple controls feel good to use. Rhythm complexity seems a bit high for the first level, but the note hitting ratio requirement isn't too demanding. There's a consistent style to the art and the interface is clear and intuitive. The music score and rhythm notes are lined up well, I found the wet noises distracting but there's an option to turn them off, I wonder if there's a way to make them more subtle and incorporated into the beat a little more?
There's a lot of planning and setup that goes into matching musical notes with gameplay, nicely done!
i'm no fan of rhythm games but this was super nice! the three button layout felt very intuitive, it's a cute came that makes me want more. and the title is just. unbelievably perfect.
Good concept and great execution. As cyberjazz said, the game is perfect as it is.
I hope you'll add more correspondence in the future! 😊
The chart for the beat boxing section had a very nice flow to it. I was surprised how well I could hit some of those tricky patterns.
Nice game, loved it. I was just hoping for more wet sounds when hitting the notes, but otherwise nice product.
Everything about this is fantastic. I have no notes. More correspondence please.
I had a really fun time with this game. Thank you
