Great game, liked the forest and its wonderful inhabitant. I didn't fully understand what exactly the altar does. My favorite character is that one cat in the village, loved him
Thank you! Did you visit grandma's house in the top-left corner of town? She explains the altar and what your tasks are for it. I may have been a little vague writing their dialogues, apologies for that!
Aww! I love the art! It's so cute and the animations are lovely! The only issue I had was seeing the plant sprites on the dirt, but that could just be a me problem. Overall very cute and very fun!
PS. I think orange cats and farms are just meant to be!
Thank you for the feedback! Hopefully it wasn't the sorting layers hiding plants from view. If it was the seeds then I would have to adjust their size so they'll be easier to see.
I think it might just be the colors for me. I have mild colorblindness, so the sprites and pixels kinda blended together XP. Maybe you could put a white outline around the sprites? Though I'm not sure how it would affect your style.
I'll keep that in mind for future games. It'll be good to add more accessibility options and higher contrast to my sprites. Thank you for the additional feedback!
