I decided to look at the theme of this game jam from a different perspective. I approached it through the story, where the characters gradually destroy themselves both mentally and physically from within in order to create a new version of themselves and come to terms with what happened to their family. Or not accept it, depending on the ending, which reflects the character's development. In other words, I incorporated this theme through the narrative.

You did it great, i like the concept and art. I had more expectation about gameplay, i think if there was a little less text, but i enjoyed. Great work!
Thank you!!!!<3
Great work on this! I can see you put in a crazy amount of time and thought into this project. Looking forward to seeing it go further.
thank you so much!<3
To start, the art and music are fantastic. So far the best I have seen in the jam. It feels unreasonably well polished, which is great, but it also puts high expectation on the gameplay to follow up, which I think fails to do so.
The game at its core seems to be a dark interactive Visual Novel, however it feels at some key parts. Most importantly, the game's hook feels weak. At the very beginning of the game, you are greeted by far too much text explaining things about the game project. That can be put after the game. Once you start the game itself, it is far too much "telling not showing". There is too much expose, which I skipped. I would rather be hooked by visual story telling. The vibe of the game is thankfully very well done, which helped me understand what the theme was overall. Further on that note, even for people following the story, it would be easy to forget stuff. Something like a journal or a notebook or anything visual that the main character keeps with them would be very nice. Furthermore, the game wants me to feel bad for the main character, which it tries to do by telling us about the bad events that have happened to the character, but at least for me, that fails to do it. It's a very nice touch that as the character interacts with the world we learn more about them, however I would've also liked it if I could skip faster. If I feel like reading more, I will take my time, and if I don't feel interested by a certain part, I'd rather skip it whole to get to the gameplay faster.
Finally, gameplay is king, and while this game is extremely polished in almost all direction, In my experience this is where it is weakest. Simply walking around trying to find what to do is not very appealing, especially for a game jam.
To conclude, this is very promising and a great amount of effort has obviously been put into the game. Lean more in visual story telling, both in the game and outside the game, and I believe that this game could be great.
Thank you so much for your comment, it really means a lot to me! If I manage to win, I will definitely add more gameplay sections and a bunch of new features to make the game feel like a little adventure. 😊 Thank you so much for playing my game—I truly appreciate it!
The game looks amazing, I would definitely like to see the full game.
Thank you!<
You've got a lot of passion in this project that's really cool to see. I hope you are able to take this project further
I also really hope for this, and for this I need good rating and a prize place, which most likely won't happen to me because I only have 19 ratings..
Doing better than me XD I'm sitting at 12, but some people really liked it which is super encouraging for me
Looks interesting. Alas my potato of a laptop won't run Unity games very well so I couldn't get it to load :( Obviously not a fault of yours as lots of people have managed to load and play it, just my old lappy. If you ever make a web version of it let me know and I'll jump straight on it.
I loved the screenshots though, so I've rated it on those.
haha, thank you)
I like the concept, and the atmosphere (the music is good) but I always expect a jumpscare and it's frustrating. Cool game.
As for bugs : When you press tab inside the menu (Options) the help appears behind the menu and it's stuck there and the "mike barely audible" text appear twice while he reads the notebook.
I will fix it, sorry for that
i liked the atmosphere and the music is so chill i liked it
hi, it's very unexpected to hear that my music is chill :) you forgot to rate my game, I'll be very grateful if you do it!
I love the atmosphere, the style, the one thing is probably the big wall of text, small dialog with few word and not entire paragraph would be nice but that is my idea, the writing is nice, the music is for some reason in gameplay I can’t set the value and sound effect is missing, but I like that graphics setting it give lower hardware to play the game properly, I love that, must say that this feel like a interactive visual novel where you can freely walk around. cool game!
You nailed the atmosphere, the music feels good for the theme and I love the art style. Well done on such a quality looking game! I'm not a big reader so for me seeing walls of text was a bit overwhelming. I think I would prefer smaller portions in passive dialogue boxes where I can still move around, explore or play the guitar while reading, or something like that. Other than that, good job on your game!
Thank you so much! This is my first attempt at something like this (story-driven), and I was inspired by Disco Elysium, which is why the whole game is built around dialogues. But if I’m lucky enough to win a prize at the jam, I’ll continue developing the game and add more diverse activities to help players immerse themselves even deeper into the atmosphere)
Hi. I want to congratulate you on making such a quality game.
I found some minor details you might want to look into:
The introduction text last very little time, I had to restart the game in order to read it all before it disappears.
When you hover over the key, it says "mirror".
It's not very clear when you reach the ending.
Overall great game though!
Hi!
First of all, thank you so much for playing my game, and secondly, I really appreciate you taking the time to point out all the possible bugs. I'll make sure to fix them in today's patch.
Regarding the ending—I originally planned for it to be much bigger and more detailed, just like the game itself. However, since I developed the entire game on my own, I simply ran out of time. Even though I spent 65 hours working on it over just three days, there was still a lot I couldn't complete.
Of course, I do plan to finish the game properly, but only if I manage to place in the game jam. Honestly, I doubt it, as not many people have rated the game. But if it happens, I'll fully complete the game with proper endings and polish it together with my team.
For now, the game was made entirely solo, so I understand if the ending feels a bit underwhelming. But I figured it was better to include something rather than…
I sadly got softlocked when I went to the jammed door twice.
But this is an amazing game, I think every jam should have a game like this. (btw this is the first game i've given a 4.75 star average you deserve it)
Thank you so much for rating my game so highly—it really means a lot to me! I truly put in a lot of effort, spending 65 hours on this project over just three days, sleeping only 1 to 1.5 hours per night. I have extensive experience in the gaming industry and work professionally in this field, so this game holds significant value for me. Plus, this was my first time participating in a game jam, which makes your support even more meaningful.
It's just a shame that not many people had the chance to try it out.
Regarding the softlock issue, I believe it was fixed in the third and latest patch. Perhaps you downloaded an older version? If this issue is still occurring in the latest file, I sincerely apologize and will look into it today to identify the cause.
Oh you're right I downloaded the second file, I'm guessing I was supposed to download the first?
oh, you didnt see... this one(Last day of life(Error Fixed).zip)
Yeah, also I just realised in the menu the title is spelled CONTEMPLETE not CONTEMPLATE
The atmosphere and story are pretty good, and this game is worth fixing or adding new content to. Having multiple localizations is great (though not in my language; I used a translation tool to play the whole game, but I don't blame you for that). Aside from the text stacking issue when quickly clicking the "Continue" button, there aren't any major problems. Anyway, good luck! -_<
thank you very much, I appreciate it. if it's not a secret, what language were you missing?
Sorry,I regret to inform you that I'm unable to share that information.
Atmospheric game with great storytelling! It feels like a book, but maybe for better immersion realistic graphics are preferable. And it will be awesome if there is an intriguing intro cutscene. Good job!
I completely agree, but don't forget that I worked alone and only had 3 days:)
Great game :)
Although I found a minor bug in the settings menu
I think I accidentally clicked continue while on pause, but after that, I could not change the sensibility or volume, I just wanted you to know that, so you could look into it
It was an interesting approach to the theme and limitation. very interesting :D
I'll fix this bug today, thanks for your feedback!<3
I did not expect a game with this high quality, damm :o
Thank you so much<3 I really appreciate it
Nice game, i lik you art and atmosphere. couldn't complete the game it just stuck after i left the kitchen. But great work!
Hello, thanks for the feedback! What do you mean by stuck? The game has its own ending behind the doors in the children's room, did you encounter a bug?
It shows me dialogue screen with a text "She can hide forever" or something like this, and then i cant do anything. Button continue didn't apear! I can send you in discord.
Got it, sorry for the difficulties, I'll fix it today... it's very sad that I didn't notice it before
Great game! Awesome art style and a well-written story. The guitar section was fun. I had a great time playing, though I wish there were more interactions and a more complete ending. :)
Things that could be improved:
In the Russian localization, the text often doesn’t fit inside buttons, and there are cases of duplicated text or one paragraph overlapping another. When interacting with the mirror, I can still control the character, and I can’t click the “Continue” button. The only way to fix this is by opening the main menu, where I can finally press the button—but I don’t think that was intentional. A few small bugs I encountered:
The toys were invisible from most of the room and only appeared in a few positions. The door to the toy room wouldn’t open, but I could walk through it.
Hi! I will be working on improving each localization. I have some friends from Russia who can help me, so I’ll do my best to refine the translations. The original language was English, so there might have been some issues—sorry about that.
Простите:(
Next, I’ll be fixing the bugs—thanks for your feedback! In about 30 minutes, I’ll release an update to address these issues.
The game wasn’t fully finished, so for now, I’ll only be fixing bugs. However, after the jam ends, I plan to release a big update with lots of new content, including missing endings, hidden mechanics, and many more models. There just wasn’t enough time to implement everything in three days.
But thank you so much for your feedback—I really appreciate it, and I’m very happy that you played! I’ll definitely check out your game, just a bit later after work.
Спасибо большое<3
I hope the translator got everything right))
I just released a new update where I fixed all the bugs that were reported to me, as well as the ones I noticed myself. I also made some minor optimizations, so I hope everything runs smoothly if you decide to play again. Thanks again for your feedback!
I was able to get there and take a look! Great job! I found new interactions with the TV and door, and it was nice to encounter a new event in the game! I also see that you’ve fixed the mirror issue! There are still some small localization problems with overlapping text, but it’s not critical. What’s more critical is that the text in the final window didn’t fit in the Russian localization. I really liked the goals you set for the game, but I wasn’t able to read the text to the end! :(
Interesting, but quite dark concept! I'd love to see how your game would play with a bit more polish. I loved the guitar section. You've got some good ideas in here. Thanks for making and sharing your game.
Thank you so much for your feedback! I'll give your game a try as well. I'm planning to develop the concept throughout this week and hopefully release a full version in a few weeks.
Thanks again for your input! If there's anything else you feel is missing, I’d really appreciate it if you let me know. I'll also be rolling out regular updates.
Wishing you the best of luck!
