Cool concept. The bombs only explode in one line (I don't know if it's a me problem tho ). But cool game.
Thanks for playing :D Are you talking about the explosion itself or the way pylons connect to each other? Either way they should go in 4 directions (North - South - East - West) unless there's a wall then the particles don't traverse those.
Buddy, the game might have an interesting concept, but there's no tutorial at all, and the mechanics are really hard to understand. I’d recommend adding some kind of tutorial or making the controls more intuitive. That being said, great job! Keep it up!
Thanks for playing and for the feedback! You're right, there isn't much instructions within the game, sorry about that. Best we came up with was the little tips on the bottom corners of the game screen. We'll definitely take that into consideration for an update and in future games.
Amazing, reminds of similar games I used to play long ago. You also have to be strategic about the pylon placements, and the chain reaction is very satisfying!
One small thing about the pylons, because they don't auto explode, you could accidentially trap yourself with one (I'm not the only dumb one that does this right?).
Thank you for the comment and for playing! Indeed they only explode when connected to the source plug. But you can always remove your own pylons if you get trapped or a misplacement by pressing F on keyboard or Cancel button (O or B) on gamepads.
I totally did not see that in the description/bottom right of the game, I kept thinking that'd be player 2's control, oops! Thank you!

The game builds on the original Bomberman with new innovations. Although I sometimes get stuck in a corner because of the bombs, the overall gameplay experience is quite enjoyable.

If you get stuck you can remove your own pylon by pressing F on keyboard / Cancel on gamepad.
This is a genius variation on the core gameplay look of Bomberman. I think this should win the contest, hands down. Extremely well done, and I enjoyed playing it.
