It's a great game, and it's fun to play ! Maybe at the start you could offset the camera a bit so that we know before the beginning in which direction to go, I kept going up instead of down at first !

Also the menu navigation is a bit too complicated and could be simpler I think, but overall it's well done !

Developer

I’ll take this into consideration for the games next update,  thanks again for trying Racing Dash 2D out.

Menu navigation is more streamlined & the direction of where to start moving is now stated before the race starts.

Very eleborated game! It played it on my Android. There the control with the virtual joystick felt a bit better than on the keyboard at the html5 versions. Still needs a bit of exercise to get into it. I think optically it could be still improved. The cars are sort of cute but somehow don't really look cool (Sorry for the critics, I am myself a very bad grafic designer). The ai controlled cars could be a bit more different in their skills. The checkpoints were a bit irritating to me. I understand that they are necessary to check if the player drove the circuit correctly but either make the completely invisble or show clearly their hitbox.

But all in all a solid game! Congratulations!

I understand the frustrations with some of the aspects of the game that your having. I’ll be taking that into account with the next update. Thank you again for testing the game out.

The checkpoints were improved, still researching on the AI vehicles part. You can play the current build to get a feel for the improvements so far if you’d like. The movement between keyboard & joystick are mirrored but I understand where you’re coming from on it, and I have experimented before with it but I need to figure out how not to break stuff control wise.

fun game! a little menu navigation polish would go a long way (having the car and level selection be choices made after clicking start rather than being prerequisites for example). Also the wheel spin was a bit confusing. In my mind, it should be clear where the "win point" is on the wheel (even if the spinning wheel visual is totally unrelated to the random roll happening in the code). Think of how counter strike does their loot boxes and how there's build up wondering what item you're going to land on. one other very minor thing was that my car was facing sideways at the start of levels 1 and 2.
