I liked it :)
It was a nice little adventure
Although I'll say to add a little sign at the start maybe, I was expecting to start the game for about 2 minutes until I realized I needed to hit start.
Nice game :D
A bit confusing to start out but once you know what to do it’s fun!
I rarely play retro games, but this was definitely a positive experience. I liked it!
yo, Gameboy! rarely to see GB studio here, the art is nice, really interesting concept, but the more you do it the more like it become a chore than fun, but still cool game!
Cool take on the limitation, I like it! I thought it was a bit harsh that there's a chance to miss the 10E cost ALL OUT! attack though lol. Other than that it's a cool retro looking game.
Nice job, hard to understand what to do and why, my game just crushed after second fight with golem
As the game lacks tutorial, I think that you should put exactly how and what to do to progress. Additionally, an options menu to adjust the sound would be neat.
The sprites look good. I could not tell, if I was gaining energy or losing energy. There should have been some counter or status bar. I did not like the first part of the game. It was too repetetive. I was just going to elder and getting tank barrels for 3E until I had 20. I liked that the boss fight was more than one dialog option. In my opinion, boss needs more random/unpredictable moves.
Thanks for playing!
To check your energy you can hit the X key, and you can also check your inventory to see how many parts you have before selling. It's a 50/50 shot that they drop 2 of a part. The repetitiveness was the goal for the first part for like a small grind fest to destroy some enemies to create more energy for yourself. But overall I hope you enjoyed it!
Nice concept. I definitely hit the soft lock by accident in one of my battles—I was so close to getting 20 energy! Thanks for making and sharing your game!
