It was hard to control at first, although it was rather fun once I figured out the entire upgrade mechanic! Although I had trouble reading some of the text, even that was playable enough. The pixely style also does really nicely!
Funny videogame. I loved having to change the screen size to keep up. but... My disabled wrists just can't keep at this kind of thing for too long... Well, nothing to be done about that. But I can't give it a rating, since I was physically unable to finish.
This isn't rocket science, it's mimi-Science!
that ending was junko-tastic!
Changing screen size is a mistake, I can't think on anyone changing the screen size ingame with the mouse wheel so chaotically, it's not unplayeable, but it ain't a challenge either, loved the sprites and ringo and her theme as well, fonts are quite hard to read and it should be pointed more directly that mimi chan becomes the mouse.
Other than that, it's quite good, the shopping system works wonders (I didn't need the hitbox though), danmaku is enjoyable and loved the ending.
When I was looking at the page for controls and saw "Zoom In/Out" there I was confused, as this just changes the scale of the web page. But when found out that it was incorporated into the game was I like, "dev, you are a genius!".
Sometimes zooming would cause my browser to take control away from me, but did not happen enough to be a real problem.
I do think that the text could be made a bit bigger (the shop menu was a bit hard to comprehend). But other than this, I really enjoyed your game.
It was fun learning the patterns, but I think that tying better controls to upgrades comes with problems. I would've preferred stuff like health up.
I loved the screen zooming gimmick and the mouse dodging with gravity was fun. Using Ringo is a plus. Though the upgrade system is weird. The speed of the rocket is almost non existent without upgrades unless you move your mouse half the desk up.
An interesting and strange concept. It took a little bit to get going and understand the controls, but it was fun time over all!
Masterpiece. Very good scaling idea.
