What inspired your game?
The "opposites attract" made me want to write a story about two girls who were on opposite sides of a war. Also, I'm a huge fan of the pixie hollow book series, so there's that :)
How did you incorporate the 'girly' theme into your game?
It's a game about two female fairies that exist in a pretty world. Yeah, there's also war and combat, but who said those type of games/stories can't be enjoyed by girls? I certainly do

its so pretty! I love how you made it so girly without making everything pink. I love the character design and the protagoist looks so cute while jumping. The story was cool and sweet and I enjoyed it a lot. I loved talking to the fairies on the map they made the world feel more alive! Great work!
This was a very enjoyable game, I absolutely adored the simple-yet-engaging storyline of the star-crossed fairies on the middle of a war, and a very interesting setup of the fallen soldier trying to come back.
The controls were very clean as well! My biggest complain is that I wish there was more hahaha but had a lot of fun!
was jumpscared by damage sound i died irl btw liked everything and especially artstyle
Visuals are on point! I also noticed the dash delay like others; it wasn't hard to adapt to, but I can see how it can be further revised.
Nice, relaxing background music as well.
The pixel art looks gorgeous! One minor thing is it may be worthwhile to trigger actions on keydown, instead of keyup -- I believe this is why dashes feel "delayed". I often also accidentally double-jumped by just holding down the jump key, so onKeyDown would solve both problems. These are just nits though -- well-executed game with polish, clear narrative, and great gameplay!
I'll keep it in mind for the update, thanks for playing and for the feedback!
I agree!! The art and music is amazing, I just had a hard time with jumping and dashing and realized it might be this too!
the game play is really polished and wow you did this all by yourself in 3 days?! - love the art and the character!! love the sound effects too but I am not sure is there background music? (I'm playing the game on safari!)
Yeah, it was like 16h of work over two days 💀 but it's ok bc I'm used to speed running game jams lmao
Also, there's music! But it glitches sometimes when played on browser... I'll try to fix it for the next update, thanks for playing!
Really interesting concept and art style. The controls may be a little tricky at first, but you get used to it, so no problem. The story was also very well themed :D
Thank you!
Great colour palette, fun gameplay and a good story. Super fun game!
Thanks!
As a huge admirer of pixel art I am BEDAZZLED ✨, truly. The limited color palette also reads really REALLY well. The music and sound effects work really well together and contribute a really serene vibe. Quick improvement thing could be to iterate more on the 2d movement, there was some sort of input delay (or lag?) that made it a little difficult to maneuver.
Omg thank you so much! I'll keep that in mind :)
The color pallet was very relaxing. I found the story very interesting! I like the dialogue box picture, beautiful art! Could do with some music. Overall, great game!
Thanks! There's music though, but Gdevelop (the program I used) gets weird when exported to html hahaha, I'll try to fix it for the next update!
I love the palette of the game—brown is an underrated colour, and the contrast between the white/brown sun fairies and the green moon fairies definitely fits the theme!
Having the K button trigger a dash on release instead of input made some of the platforming hard, though. And my finger got really tired spamming J during my many attempts on the boss fight. I think with tighter controls this would be even greater ^_^
Thanks for the praise and the feedback, I'll keep it in mind for future updates!
I love the game and this kind art style. It was hard to get used to the jump and dash controls, but then it became easy to use. It has great potential. The music fits perfectly.
Thanks, I'll keep that in mind for the next update~
Really cute graphics, they remind me of one of my favorite games: Cave Story! But unfortunately the movement is really heavy for a platformer, climbing up after a fall was a struggle! And the delayed dash caused me some trouble.
I think it has potential, keep going!
Thanks for the feedback, I'm still figuring out how to do physics lmao
I'll definitely check out cave story!
Cave Stoty(Classic and Plus) is an amazing game! Kinda expecific, but it has the best 2D platformer gravity I've ever seen, it felt good and it could be a great vein of inspiration on your future projects!
