The game features turn-based combat, procedural world generation (sort of), and plenty of stats that impact the game. Just like some older roguelikes too (angband for example), it is played fully in the terminal.

honestly not sure if I should give you full stars for innovation because this input mode stands out so much in 2025, or dock them because it comes from 1980…!

As a lover of Zork, this was fun and nostalgic.

Speaking of Zork, I did wish for “go north and open mailbox” style input, and abbreviations. “l” and “r” (and probably “f”) in this case would have been handy for faster play.

oh yeah that's true! i will try to implement those in the postjam build! thanks for playing <3

although, since the game is in the terminal, you can just press the upward arrow to repeat your last command

Strangely charming terminal-based game that allows you to interpret enemies and items however you like. You don’t get any specific descriptions or even graphics so it’s all up to your brain how you see the dungeon and its inhabitants.

It’s perfect for anyone who might enjoy letting their imagination take over and I could see this game gaining its own fandom if it gets enough attention from other players that might end up being artists :]
