Interesting idea! I needed to click too many times to do what I wanted, maybe click on the grid directly and drag and drop furniture from a menu?

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! That is a good idea, we originally thought of something similar but due to time constraints we had to do it that way. We will surely improve the interaction in the future. Many thanks!

At this start i didn't know what to do, but then i realized when I do right click it popped up a menu and then i started to play a little bit with the decorations. Things i would add?:
1. A tutorial: The game needs a tutorial most people don't look at the description of the game in the page (im one of those ngl), but what many people watch is a good tutorial. So you should add it
2. Music. Music is key when we talk about game dev
3. Last but not least. A game to lose. A way to lose could be if you make many people mad with decorations. I would understand if you don't want to add it because there's some games where you shouldn't be supposed to die. But i think this one is one of those where you are supposed to either win or lose, or at least on of them.
PS: I think the idea is great (sorry if i wrote too much, but on discord you said you would like feedback so here it is). If you polish it enough i think it would be a really really good game :D . However for a 48h jam is amazing. Btw I loved the art the combination of pixel art with 3D

Totally agree! The first two points you are absolutely right, acually we wanted to add them but we run out of time.
The third point was not considered at least for the jam, since adding that would have meant more game design work and we were not going to get there in time, so for the jam we wanted to do something more chill. But in a future expansion we will surely add victory and defeat conditions, as well as some things unlockable with money paid by the clients.

Thank you very much for the feedback, we really appreciate it!

Very interesting game! I was having a hard time figuring out which species was which, but i ended up building a little bone house for a dog and that was pretty fun hehe.

Took me a while to understand how to play it. Nice game, pretty relaxing :)

Developer

Nice to hear that it made you feel that way! That's what we wanted to achieve. And yes, we need to improve the controls a lot to make them more intuitive. Thank you for the feedback!

The visuals are awesome! The controls are pretty finicky seeing as it's a pretty big game to put everything on the mouse, but honestly just some text indicators could help!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Totally agree. We did a late first build and an unexpected problem appeared that didn't happen in the editor, it took us a while to solve it and it took away the time needed for tutorial and audio unfortunately. But we will work on it! Thanks again

I like the game but I can’t play it I Dont understand Controls so complex to me but visuals are very good maybe film grain too much but ı love the style of game. Maybe play my game too ?

Developer

Hi! Thanks you for your comments and feedback.  Yes, definitely the prototype needs more visual aids or maybe a small tutorial showcasing the controls.
