i have never successfully summoned a cat like this, mission accomplished.
can be beaten by just holding 'A' though which is a bummer
Very fun concept! The cat feels a bit unresponsive at times (probably by design lol) but it was a bit odd to have little player feedback for some things, also the same pss pss did start to drag out a bit. I enjoyed the playthrough!

I did notice that the cat kind of bounced to the other side of the screen when I caught it. You may be aware of this already though!

Great choice of music! Adding a sound effect of the cat purring when it's ready to be caught would be adorable overload :D

Haha, the "psspsspsspsspss" is awesome -- the premise is a very cute one! I got very nervous that the cat would actually bolt as it got closer, and the cat couldn't possibly walk any slower -- my goodness, haha! I do love this game.

I liked the style! But there's not much going on except hold A until the cat gets as far as it can then press D. If this had more levels and maybe difficult routes you have to change to get your voice saying "psspss" to reach the cat, that could be a nice puzzle game!
Thank you for the feedback. Our first version of this project was more complex. But since we didn't have a lot of time to work on it, we decided to test the core idea of our project first while keeping the possibility to develop this game after the jam !
The art of this game is very evocative <3 Reminds me of a cool morning in late spring, probably on the way to school :)

It is soso pretty! And funny! Very cool idea and perfectly short and sweet. Very great at what it is. The music, the cat, the sloooowww walk of the cat! (my cat reacted to the pspsps, so you called my cat through space and time, through the computer)
