How is your game related to the Theme and Special Object?
It has annoying ads in it that interrupt gameplay, and it takes place in/on a castle, which has turrets.
The ads were sufficiently annoying and the gameplay was fun. I liked that it had a story.
It seems to me that it would be very nice to add the ability to at least somehow attack opponents. And make different music before and after “I hope everyone's okay,” because the music makes it clear that “Nobody's okay.” But as for the advertising here, it is really very annoying.
That was an INCREDIBLY immersive experience! ╰(*°▽°*)╯ Loved the soundtrack along with the game play and visuals! I just wished the game was longer, but of course, that's not possible with only 3 days of development >﹏<
The story was fun, and the ads were DEFINITELY annoying. The way you set up the controls forces you to use two hands so you have to take the time to click the ad. It could've been more annoying if the window changed locations lol.
I'm not sure about the turrets, but either there's a way to interpret that I don't understand or I missed it.
But overall, cute game. Good job!
I like the visual style and I think the lighting really compliments it. The narration was nice and I admittedly laughed at a couple of the puns. The music is good as well.
I think the ad did a really good job of being annoying. But I will say, it was a little cumbersome having to use the mouse to close the ad when the rest of the game is controlled by keyboard.
I did notice the game felt a bit better to control with WASD, compared to the arrow keys which felt a bit unresponsive. I'm not sure if this is just my keyboard though (I have a 60% one).
I'm not sure if the weapon the green bean is carrying is a gun, but it could just as easily be a turret.
Great work overall and it could be interesting to see the story continue. It works well as a self-contained story though.
I love the narration. And it's a nice touch that you have lighting in the game. Really nice moment when Beanito comes out of the tunnel in the end and the light shines behind him
It's cool that you've made sword and weapon mechanics. And narration is good
The game look good feell good the music is really good but honestly the theme implementation isen't that great lemme explain
like yeh a pop-up spawn like randomly cool but it just slowed the game without having some utility like if you pause the game randomly it will feel the same. excepts that good game
