I really liked the style of the drawings! Very nice to play also the minigames. The only thing that I notice is the text runs perhaps too fast.

It seems that a lot of heart went into this—thank you for telling this story (or stories? :>).
Am I just bad at the game, or are some thoughts not accessible?
hellloooo!
thank you for the sweet comment! we are making our way to try your game out as well! <3
the rhetoric of some thoughts not being accessible to you is actually portraying how the character is feeling in that moment. some thoughts aren't accessible because they're the 'real timeline' that Lina already regrets. the voice gives her a chance to explore the past if she made different choices, and that's what she wants to do in that moment.
This was really sweet, both in its art and the themes it explores. I think it will resonate with all overthinkers as a spot-on portrayal.
The writing is well done, the main character is lovable, and the gameplay metaphor is clever. Honestly, I have nothing more to add except: great work!
The art style is so cute, I really love the color palette. Also, very well written, for a game jam with such short deadline. The gameplay is simple but not boring, so is the story.
I think the audio bugged on the ending, I also don't know if it was supposed to go back to the start or not T_T
The only negative note is that I don't see how it interprets the prompt of the jam...?
Other than that, great job!
Thank you so much! We are glad you enjoyed the game and the story. Thanks for pointing out the bug, we are currently looking into the audio bug and will release another build outside of the jam submission.
The way we interpret the jam theme is that the voice inside her head is a lost signal from her headspace. Lina has to connect the neurons in her head to see the ‘what ifs’ in her past. We adapted a gameplay of a windows retro game, Pipe Mania, and combined it with our narrative.
TW: SPOILER AHEAD!!!
The reason Lina went back again is that the path you chose for her didn’t lead her to become more confident in herself, leading her to still question herself. To break the loop, look out for the clues she mentions during the game :))
Just because you can rewrite the past, doesn’t mean that you should.
