The destruction part sounds so nice.

Loved the orchestral / electronic mix, not an easy mix to pull and I think you did it flawlessly, only things I have to say would be, some times the midi'sh, its rare but there are a few horns that give that away and (this is more of a personal opinion) I was not a big fan of the piano timbre you chose

Composition was pretty good, I think you could had given a bit more grandure to the consumation section

Great job, take care :)

Love this man! And the transitions! Really good music here. Love the destruction theme! So good.

I love that transition into Pastoral State. Such good energy! It starts very optimistic, but the way it deteriorates slightly before heading into Consumption was some great foreshadowing! Destruction gets very moody. It has an almost mechanical sound that seems out of place with the rest of the tracks but does work in an odd way. It makes you feel uneasy, which means its doing its job well. That guitar in Desolation is my favorite part of the whole piece. So beautiful!

Nice submission 🙂 I particularly enjoyed Desolation and Destruction. I do think the latter could run a little shorter compared to the rest of the piece, but I did quite like the the slow grind nonetheless, it was an interesting take on that particular theme 🙂. You did a really nice job capturing a sense of sorrow and resignation in Desolation. And I also really liked those opening atmospheric notes in Savage State; as someone else said its almost like a premonition of things to come and has this haunting kind of quality, and is of course revisited at the end of the track to bring it full circle. Cool stuff!

As has already been mentioned I think the mix on Consumation could do with a little tweaking, some elements are just a bit too upfront to me (the brass section comes to mind), but I like what you were going for! Some parts do sound quite midi (I'm guilty of that too haha) but it doesn't affect the quality of composition 🙂 Good effort!

Thank you so much for taking the time to review my song and listen to it! I'm really glad you liked it. ❤️

I wanted to explain some of my choices regarding the duration and the mix

I would have liked to work on it a bit more, but time is always short.

Regarding the duration, I chose to make the final part longer than the beginning because I've always felt that the start of something beautiful tends to be too short, whereas something negative is often perceived as never-ending.

As for the mix, I deliberately created a sense of dynamism in the brass section, making it reach its peak intensity at the highest point of the piece. I see this moment as the central climax, like the peak of a mountain from which you can only descend. That’s why I gave it a strong presence in the mix at that particular point

Thanks again!

Can't fault the logic 😊

Very cool! The high notes at the beginning (and the end) made me think of the Disco Elysium main menu theme, and they had the same quality of being a premonition (and then a memory) of an apocalyptic event, or of a world that is simply indifferent to the fate of humanity.

I'd agree that the mixing could have been better in places (particularly in the Consummation section, I think). On the whole it didn't detract from the enjoyability or the fascination of the music, though.

I found the Destruction section the most interesting. I felt you took a different approach to most in the Destruction part, and it works really well. But my overall favourite part was the Savage State. I liked the simplicity of it and the sense of pathos and anticipation in that slow build-up. Nice work!

Very chill tracks, I really liked listenning to it.

I feel like sometimes the mixing part could be improved, some instruments sounded a bit to loud in the mix, but maybe that's just me !

Favorite moment of mine is definitely Desolation, I really enjoyed the mood of this one. Felt a mix of acceptance and sorrow.

Good job !
