How did you incorporate the 'girly' theme into your game?
I'm a girl who was never a big 'fan' of the 'girl' games that were on the internet. So, I think that 'girly' could very well be an electron destroying all its enemies to go after its proton. After all, the feminine world is much more than roses, makeup and other items attributed to girls/women. The feminine world is about the daily struggle for our achievements and dreams. Participating in this gamejam made it possible for me, a girl, to start my own dream of developing games. And this game represents part of my vision of 'girly'.

I think the idea is very cool, it could also be expanded by nuclear fusion and elements becoming bigger ones or maybe molecules (thus changing the weapons). Unfortunate that the combat is not really done because it'd be cool to play that part.

The one feedback I will make is that you absolutely have to make the font contrast more noticeable. It's eye-straining when there's too much visual noise and hard to read when both the font and the background are dark. And the skip text would add a lot to replayabilty.

Congrats on submitting for your first Game Jam, it's an incredible accomplishment! I really liked your take on the opposites attract theme, it was very creative :D it was also quite satisfying to dodge large clusters of snakes, even if I couldn't attack them back.

Two things I noticed, the opening crawl was difficult to read, but a simpler background would probably help, and the game timer was very long. You could probably aim for 5-7 minutes instead since its a Jam. That's actually one of the comments we got when getting our submission playtested, and tbh we probably still could've cut the submitted game in half!

First, that's awesome that you managed to not only join but also submit in your very first game jam! This game has some cute enemy snakes, haha. The goofy eyes are my favorite part. How do I do battle with these snakes though? Would love to give the game another spin, if you have some instructions for that. And if not, not a problem, this looks great. I hope you continue developing games and making that 'girly' dream a reality!

Thank you very much for taking the time to play the game. I'm glad you liked the snakes, I made them with a lot of love. Unfortunately, when I was almost done with the gamejam and I was programming the sword to rotate according to the mouse, the damage system stopped working and I couldn't fix it in time. But at least my goal was achieved, sending the game (even though it was very incomplete). Once again, thank you very much for taking the time to try out the game.

The story of the game is interesting and it fits well for the theme, however I think the text in the beggining should be more faster or at least summarized in a few words. And I think you should put something indicating the game commands, even if it would be in the description of the game page, because I was playing it without knowing what should I do. I know is your first game, but I hope you take this criticism in consideration to be a better developer. You have so much potential.

Thanks for the review, it's always good when it helps to improve. About the text, I did it this way on purpose, because I was basing it on the long texts from the beginning of the Castleovania games (but I really forgot to mention the skip intro button). And about the commands, due to time issues and other commitments, I ended up not being able to do the attack command (I did, but when I programmed the sword to spin, the whole system bugged), so I ended up just walking around. But in the next games I produce, I intend to have the explanation of the commands within the game itself. Thank you very much for your time dedicated to the game!

You're welcome. I'm sure you'll have a great improve in your next games.
