Description
That's it, time to rhapsody.

Journey Through the Century,

Imagine it being a theme song of a bullet hell boss fight (or any boss fight) with various phases. Or an Ost to accompany a trailer of a game showcasing a different time period.

I took some inspiration from various classical piece as well as Keor. Ended up writing a rhapsody. I always enjoy storytelling through various media.

Please enjoy my work, feedbacks are highly appreciated (I'll try my best not to implode)

Great work on all the sections! I recognized the Rite of Spring quote, nice touch.

Cool submission, I liked your storytelling through the music, worked very well on me and it fits the theme nicely !

Special mention to the transition at 4:37, that string glissando gave me chills :D

Good job !

Hey I think youe approach was pretty interesting, took a bit for me to get the feel for those drums but then they fit, favorite section no doubt around 3:40 i believe its destruction, a bit of double bass drum metal style really spices it.

I believe you could work some aspects of the mix, but its nice overall!

Good jog, take care :)

I honestly really liked what you were doing with the piece, the ideas and textures are nice!

My two criticisms would be that you want to support your melody a little bit more since whenever it gets passed around it still feels thin, especially with how Latin this feels you'd want things to drive a bit more. The other criticism would be countermelody, or at least harmony outside of just chords, it helps add flavor.

I do really like the piece though, especially when it gets to the more aggressive parts with the timpani, it still feels and sounds great!
