This seems to be really cool. The art style is beautiful. Would really like to see where this project can go!
I gave this game a try, and I think there’s a solid foundation here! The core gameplay is simple, which can be a great starting point for something even better. 🎮
One thing that could really enhance the experience is adding sound effects and music to bring more life to the game. A main menu and a clearer tutorial would also help new players get into it more easily. The movement could feel a bit smoother as well, which would make navigating the game more enjoyable.
The game wasn't space sci-fi? so its off theme xD!
But Overall, there’s definitely room for improvement, but I can see potential here! Keep it up!
This is pretty fun! The flowers on the third level seem deadly, haha. I'm a really big fan of the pixel art here -- the shrimp player itself and the spaceship at the very start. I hope this becomes a fully fledged, would definitely play!
OMG, Thank you soooo much!
The game and art feel feel very solid, but the goals and feedback are somewhat oblique. I was able to move around comfortably, platform satisfyingly, but I was suddenly presented with a black screen and I don't know why. There is a very solid foundation here. Good work!
Hi, I just wanted to say I messed up the date the game was supposed to be submitted so when the voting period ends the game will look and feel way better. Thank you for the critiques!
The art in this game is very beautiful, but unfortunately, I don’t fully understand the gameplay. The game has several issues with the colliders, and it froze on me several times on the third screen (I’m not sure if it meant I got killed, and I didn’t get any game over screen either). I would recommend adding a start scene (the typical start menu) and a pause/game over window, mainly to give feedback to the player and allow them to restart the game in case of bugs.
It’s possible that all of this is due to my browser doing weird things. In any case, if you keep working on the game, I’m sure you’ll end up with a great game ^^
Yeah, the pausing was a bug. It was substitute for a game over screen that work to well. Thank you for your input!
Interesting game, it felt very good to play! I got past a few stages, I would love to see how this game is with some more time!
Thank you!
I don't know what to do in the game. Also at one point it just ended and I don't know why. However I loved the art.
Interesting take on the theme, the controls felt good and easy to use, and good use of minimalist art! My only issue is that I kind of didn't know what to do or where to go, and some of the mechanics like the springs felt a bit inconsistant to use. Either way, still very cool game!
