Cool game, good art style and music, especially the shopkeeper—he's super nice.

Really liked the game! I noticed after accepting a job, I couldn't seem to upgrade my engine or weapons -- but I was able to blow up all the enemy spacecraft though, haha. The laser cannons are very satisfying to shoot, and the enemies were fun to destroy. This was fun to play!

I really enjoyed it! It took me a minute to figure out which arrow meant what, but once I figured it out, it was easy. Nice clean game!

In its current state this is a very relaxing experience with a confusing control scheme. While I understood that the orientation of the controls is absolute, aiming with the cursor led me to feel that "w" should align to the direction I'm facing. Overall, though, this is nice and polished - consistent graphics, nice sound design, good atmosphere, intuitive game loop.

One potential bug - the longer I ran my engine the more garbled the background music became.

actually fully agree on the controls, i even tried the way you say it with w being forward for the ships perspective, and it felt even worse than the way it ended up shipping here. if i were to make this a full game (which im not lol) i would have to solve that for sure

Cool game and really good aesthetic (both graphics and sounds).

Despite being confusing at first I think it's easy to understand what the game is about. My only problem is that I couldn't find any reason to upgrade my engine/weapons, since I always found the same meteors and enemies (maybe if I had played more I would have found different elements). If you make some kind of progression (for example, harder meteors which give you more loot and more challenging enemies as the game progresses) it could become a really good game.

In any case, great job. I encourage you to keep going with the game development ^^

Makes sense for the theme but a bit confusing, great premise though!

I liked the sound design and music, gave a calming and whimsical vibe. The controls were a bit slippery, but it makes sense for the theme. Was a little bit difficult to figure out what to do, so a tutorial could help if you decided to continue this project. Cool game!
