I was very very excited when I saw how cool the menu was and then was brought rocketing back to earth when I got to the gameplay (moestly joking of course, I'm just not the biggest fan of these sorts of percision/"rage" games if you will). That being said, it is very well made and it does feel good to make progress when I actually managed to do so but I personally have a short fuse for games like these and I will probably never "get gud" at them haha.

The art and animation is the highlight here for sure!

I was extremely impressed with this short-playing, but extremely well-polished game! The dash ability makes for an easier-to-control experience compared to Getting Over It (which I believe was the inspiration), and the visual style was a lot of fun.

I appreciated the volume slider as well, which made it easier to hear the things going on in the game. It was an excellent experience playing this, so I found it to be some of the best that this kind of game had to offer. I can tell that you put a lot of amazing work into this! *u*

Edit: I also like the main menu gem icons! It adds good personality.

i do not have the power in my wrists to play this game but it seems like it would be really cool. thanks for making this game even if i can't play it. not going to rate this one but it's got high numbers in spirit.

also, copy and pasted from my stream chat:

Visually it's mind blowing, I loved every little animation.

The gameplay part, well, it's quite broken, there's no way you can see what's above you and it's a big issue with higher jumps, pickaxe can crash with any gem and sent you flying fast enough to the bottom if you're unlucky enough.

I wish  pickaxe could be automatically deactivated when it's not swinging or have a bigger dash to compensate, because not knowing where to place your weapon before jumping is a big issue.

Still, this reminds me of hopping tenshi, a game I have very fond memories.

Loved this one. One change I think would be good is if the dash move followed the direction of your controller movement and not the mouse direction. Otherwise one of my favorite submissions!
