A lot of the rhythms here are wonky, I recommend you quantize your music, the mixing is not the best which does not work well with these ambitious arrangements. I found the glockenspiel in the Overture to be especially loud but there are these kinds of issues throughout.

The music you've made is rather unique. The aesthetic is pretty orchestral but the way the ideas come in feel more like a rap beat where a fragment is introduced and then looped. It's outside of classical norm but it's a unique aesthetic that you could play into.

It's really cool how you came up with such a thorough idea for a game, then portrayed various scenes in it with your music. The changes in instrumentation, rhythms, and tempo really helped with vividly telling your story. Great job!

Yes, I have come to discover that I compose music best when I have a prompt of sorts. I can't really just sit down and start writing music without having some idea in my head. That's why these game jams have been so fun and productive for me.

Thanks for listening!

The cohesion of each track is immersive. You managed to blend orchestral arrangements, retro-like sampled instruments, and the modern electronic aesthetics effectively.

My favorite piece of the five is "Climate Change" because you make reference to your other songs while adding new elements. The tempo changes and erratic nature are fun and interactive. I can picture these songs in a colorful polygon top down game.

I was definitely going for more of a  "hybrid" approach. I feel my "classical" composing chops could use improvement, but I'm glad I was able to make the best of my current skill set.  It's exhilarating taking kind of a "best of both worlds" approach and mixing old with new, western with non-western, etc. I still have a long way to go, but I'd like to make more music like this in the future.

Overture for the Amazon Rainforest: I like the contrast between the solo flute and the much fuller sound of the orchestral strings. There is an ancient feeling to your melody which works well for portraying the Amazon. The latter half of your track with the guitar and gentle percussion also feels authentic since you are using some instruments native to Brazil, like the cuica. Very nice!

Life as a Jaguar: The marimba melody gives this track a very playful feel. I can imagine this being a fun aspect of the game as you recruit the help of the other animals of the rainforest.

Oil Drilling: The percussion hits hard in this song and the guitar arpeggio playing the minor chord progression gives this track an ominous and possibly dangerous feeling. I like the variation in your percussion.

Deforestation: The solo flute seems to me to represent a sad or lonely tree in a forest being cut down. The bass part that comes in feels like big machinery plowing down everything in their path. Good imagery with your instrument choice!

Climate Change: I think this one is my favorite of all of your tracks! The musical symbolism of accelerating just like climate change is rapidly increasing is a great technique. This gets to the point of sounding frantic at the end which conveys the overall message well. Good job with this soundtrack and I also really like the artwork! Thank you for sharing!

Thanks for listening and taking the time to give me feedback on each track!

As for the cuica, I think I know what you're talking about. I think it's actually a conga. I am not 100% sure about that, though.

I am glad it seems my overall "vision" for each individual track came across effectively!

I like the stroy you tell and the fact that you actually thought about what kind of game this is for :)
Also appreciate that you mixed tones with strong forest connotation and electronic/industrial sounds to represent the destruction of the rain forest.

Thanks for listening and thanks for your feedback!

Indeed, I use the hypothetical video game concept as a starting point in my process.
