I wanted to ask you, if you are interested in the Odin Book of Karl, as I already own it and the rest of our team are not programmers. If yes I will gift one book to you, which you can claim on itch.io. You can dm me in discord. If you joined Karl’s discord channel, I’m also called gordonshamway23 there.

Hey Gordon,

I already own a copy of the book too :)

Thanks for the offer!

Alright, I will ask the next one :)

Thanks for your quick reply.

The idea of this game is amazing! :D

I thought this one was pretty neat. Got the tension right and kept me motivated to try to get to the stone arrows (even though that didn't work out as I thought it would) .

I liked the idea of hiding some tech as the pick axe, even though I needed to read the comments to get it. I just thought  it was a fun idea if you continued to find secrets in your own backyard during a run :)

Interesting concept and I liked the art!

I had no idea how to get the pickaxe until I read a comment answering it.

Cool idea, very well fleshed. Like mentioned by someone else, there's a bit of a weird thing going on where stone arrows are less powerful than wooden ones. I cleared both pathways and could go back home :)

Nice idea, has pretty visuals, and feels like a complete game. Very cool!

I enjoy it! It's very fun to play, especially at night. It took me a while to figure out how to get the pickaxe, but after reading the comments, I figured it out. Overall, I loved the experience, great job!

A peaceful forest by day, a survival horror by night :D The polish is there – music, sounds, art, the cabin details, the character is very cute. Very nice game!

Almost a combination of Stardew Valley and Minecraft in a simplified way that works. With a bit more depth I could see this as something I would enjoy sinking some time into. Nice work.

fun game took me a bit to figure out how to get a pickaxe sense it was in the crafting table i thought i had to craft it then i red a comment that told me to clear the path

Nice little gameplay loop, I like the night section instead of just sleeping.  I like the auto targeting, though it would be nice to have the ability to aim by clicking so that you can punch through a wall coming at you.  Also seemed weird that the stone arrows seem to do less damage than the wood arrows, I thought the enemies had gotten stronger since I had made them, that didn't feel right.  I wish the character had a bit more energy for the day, or even just more strikes against the trees before they fall, the day part is over weirdly fast its sorta jarring.  I like the little ghost character.

Thank you for the comment, I 100% agree with your points.

The stone arrow dealing less damage than the wood one is definitely an oversight after some last-minute changes.

It was fun, but I feel stone arrows were bugged and did less damage than wooden despite being more expensive, and also I lost because I missed like 1 or 2 energy to clear the last rock on the last day D:

This is THE ONE. I love this so much.

Fun game. Was confused how to get a pickaxe until I cleared the right path. The two musics for day and night are cool. Maybe it is better to create a third path, which must be cleared, so a stone pickaxe needs to be build. Monsters are relative easy to dodge by running :). Great entry nonetheless.

Fun game with a lot in it, enjoyed it! Though i have no idea how the player gets more energy from those stressful nights... Good job :)

Just when I thought it would be safe to stay in my house, the monsters travel through the walls... aargh!!

Awesome music and fun concept! I think there's a typo, the arrows say they cost 1x wood but use up 5x. Didn't really see the point of the stone pickaxe; since once you've cleared all the stone on the main path you have enough for the stone axe and there are no stones left. Really good overall though!

Great game overall!
